Craig Anderson (ankle) was on the ice again Tuesday.
Anderson remains highly questionable to accompany the Senators to their game in Boston on Thursday, but it is good news that he's getting on the ice. Anderson was off to a superb start before getting hurt, posting a 1.49 GAA and .952 save percentage in 15 starts. We should know more after the team practices Wednesday.

Craig Anderson (ankle) was on the ice briefly on Monday.
"He went for a couple of twirls today, but I wouldn't call it a skate," said Senators coach Paul MacLean. Anderson got off to a fantastic start this season with a 1.49 GAA and .952 save percentage in 15 starts.

The Ottawa Senators say Craig Anderson has a sprained left ankle and is day-to-day.
Anderson was hurt when Rangers forward Chris Kreider fell into him, which caused Anderson to bend awkwardly. The netminder appeared to be in a lot of pain, so the sprained ankle diagnosis is a sigh of relief. Anderson tweeted he'd be fine after the game, writing, "Another 2 pts. Bish stood tall. Hard place to come in the game. My ankle's going to be OK. Be back ASAP." We'll let you know as soon as we hear more.

Craig Anderson left Thursday's game against the Rangers in the third period and did not return.
Rangers' forward Chris Kreider fell into Anderson, causing the netminder to bend awkwardly and immediately go to the Senators locker room. Give the Senators injury woes of late, it's fair to worry about the safety of anyone else on the roster. Ben Bishop relieved Andersonand allowed two goals on 13 shots in just over 23 minutes of action.

Craig Anderson was excellent again in Ottawa's 3-1 win over the New York Islanders on Tuesday.
He turned aside 37 of the 38 shots he faced to get the Senators a victory. The victory broke a two-game losing slide for Anderson, who continues to lead the league with a .950 save percentage.

Craig Anderson is expected to get the start in net Tuesday night.
Anderson has lost two straight and isn't getting a ton of help from a Senators team missing Jason Spezza and Erik Karlsson. Still, his .948 save percentage and 1.61 GAA are first and second in the NHL, respectively.

Craig Anderson stopped 26 of 28 shots in a 3-0 defeat Saturday night.
Anderson has been one of the league's top goaltenders this season, but he's not going to get a ton of support now that Jason Spezza and Erik Karlsson are both out with long-term injuries. This is his sixth loss of the season and four of them have come in games where he's allowed two or fewer goals.

Although there is no official word yet, look for Craig Anderson to get the start Saturday night against the Maple Leafs.
It is the Hockey Night in Canada game and the latest instalment of the Battle of Ontario and it makes little sense to sit Anderson who has a sparkling 1.58 goals against average and .949 save percentage.

Craig Anderson gave up four goals on 30 shots Wednesday night in the Senators' 4-2 loss to the Penguins.
It's not a stunning development that with Erik Karlsson in the lineup for the majority of two periods, the Senators were tied 2-2. With him out, the Sens lost one of the best players in the game and much of their team confidence as well -- and the result was two goals allowed in the third period. Anderson has still been brilliant this season with a 1.58 goals-against average and .949 save percentage, but each day that passes makes him harder to believe long-term because of how decimated Ottawa is by injuries.

Craig Anderson will get the nod for Ottawa again on Wednesday night.
The Senators netminder was excellent in Tuesday's 2-0 win over Buffalo. Anderson made 42 saves for his second shutout of the season. He has been a fantasy hockey stud between the pipes in the early going, while sporting a tremendous .956 save percentage and an eye-opening 1.36 GAA.
