Ottawa Senators goalie Craig Anderson fell against the San Jose Sharks 5-2 on Sunday. Anderson allowed five goals on 29 shots, dropping his second loss in a row. The U.S. Olympic hopeful is now 4-3-2 on the season. There's always the concern that Robin Lehner might move in on his starts, so Anderson owners might be nervous about his backup's next game.

Craig Anderson will be between the pipes for Ottawa on Sunday when they host the San Jose Sharks. Backup netminder Robin Lehner was great when the Senators last played the Sharks back on Oct. 12 in San Jose when he stopped 47 shots in a 3-2 loss. However, coach Paul MacLean will stick with Anderson after he played well in Friday's 2-1 loss to Anaheim.

Craig Anderson's three-game winning streak came to an end on Friday, as the Ottawa Senators fell to the Anaheim Ducks 2-1. Anderson allowed two first period goals, although Ryan Getzlaf's game-winner was hardly his fault. Still, he gets the "L" after allowing two tallies on 28 shots.

Craig Anderson will start Friday against Anaheim. In Ottawa's last meeting with the Ducks, Anderson was pulled after allowing two goals on nine shots in just over four minutes of action. He'll be looking for a much better showing Friday night on home ice.

Craig Anderson stopped 31 of 32 shots Wednesday night as the Senators destroyed Detroit by a score of 6-1. Anderson was sharp in this contest after Robin Lehner struggled in the Senators last outing and given how well he performed, there's little doubt that Anderson will be between the pipes again when Ottawa plays next. Anderson's record is now 4-1-2 with a GAA of 2.58 and a .930 save percentage.

Ottawa coach Paul MacLean wouldn't announce his starting goaltender on Tuesday for Wednesday's contest at Detroit. However, it's expected that Craig Anderson will get the nod. The Red Wings are a fellow Atlantic Division opponent, so giving Anderson the start is the logical decision considering he's their number one netminder. We'll let you know if we hear otherwise, but consider him probable.

Craig Anderson made 40 stops Thursday night to earn himself a 5-2 victory over the Devils. Anderson was the greatest reason the Senators emerged victorious, as the team was drastically outshot in the win. The Ottawa goalkeeper's record improves to 3-1-2 with the victory while his GAA stands at 2.88 and his save percentage is a solid .924.

Craig Anderson was the first goaltender off the ice Tuesday. He's likely to get the nod against Phoenix after being pulled early into Ottawa's loss to Anaheim. Anderson lasted just over four minutes and he allowed two goals on nine shots. Robin Lehner was excellent in relief. Anderson had a shutout in his first appearance of the season, but after four outings this year he has a .915 save percentage and a 3.16 GAA.

Craig Anderson allowed four goals on 32 shots as the Senators was beaten by the Kings 4-3 in OT Wednesday night. Anderson gave up three goals in the first period, but was impressive after that until the Kings scored in the overtime. Anderson has started all the three games for the Senators this season and they have only won one game. His save percentage is .927 and goal against average 2.59, which are pretty good peripherals despite his losing record. Giving up eight goals in his last two games is a bit concerning though. Anderson fell to 1-7-4 lifetime against L.A. and the Kings have won eight of the past 10 meetings with Ottawa. Additionally, the Kings are 12-1-1 all-time at home against the Senators, who haven't won at Staples Center since January 11, 2000.
