Perry continues to be heating up right when the Ducks need him to. Ever since action resumed after the All-Star break, Perry has racked up eight points in nine games. He's also fired the puck on goal 21 times in that span, showing that he's been aggressive as ever of late. As long as the Ducks continue to hum in this second half of the season, Perry remains a great choice on a nightly basis.

At the tender age of 30, he seems distinctly past his prime years, though it wouldn't be a surprise to see Perry settle in as a steady 60-point man for quite a few more seasons.

Perry scored twice in Saturday's 4-3 win over Detroit. He has six goals and one assist in his last nine games.

His Cy Young season continues -- Perry has 19 goals and just 12 assists. And he's on pace to deliver the sixth 30-goal season in his last seven full seasons, lockout aside. It's interesting to note that his production this year pretty much mirrors the last (33 goals, 55 points), so 2013-14 aside, Perry's best is clearly behind him. But goal scorers come at a premium, so his return on investment remains intact.

Perry contributed an assist in Wednesday's 3-1 win over the Wild despite playing just 14:29. He skated on a line with Patrick Maroon and Richard Rackell.

Perry's ice time total was his lowest since Nov. 1, as he was taken off the top line by coach Bruce Boudreau. Perry was unfazed by the move, recording his first assist of 2016 and fourth point in the last six games. Despite the moderate success in this one, there's no denying that Perry's fantasy prospects take a dive as long as he remains in this reduced role.

The Ducks are rolling and Perry is right in the middle of it, having fired 17 shots on goal over his last three outings and racking up five goals in his last eight games. Make sure you have him in your lineup.

The Ducks may be last in the Western Conference right now, but if they turn things around in the second half of the season, Perry, who has scored six power-play goals this year, will likely play a key role. The 30-year-old is heating up, and with 23 points in 34 games, he makes for a strong fantasy play every night.

Perry skated 15:34 and didn't take a shot on goal or record a point in Monday's loss to the Islanders.

He did, however, pick up four penalty minutes, marking his first trip to the box in more than a month. After getting hot through November, Perry's been backsliding -- he hasn't registered a multi-point game since Nov. 24 has just one point (an assist) in his last four games. The Ducks will give him every opportunity to work it out, but it could be that at the age of 30, Perry's distinctly past his peak years. That doesn't mean he's not still a first-line talent, but he's clearly not one of the game's top few scorers anymore.
