Perry remains a valuable fantasy asset in most leagues.

His tally late in the second period was all the help Jonathan Bernier needed on his way to a 43-save shutout win. Perry's a former 50-goal man who scored 34 last season, but he has just 12 this year; it'd been exactly a month since he last found twine. At 31 years old, he's still capable of helping fantasy clubs, and there's an argument to be made that this is just a down season and he's got some big years ahead of him yet -- and maybe some big weeks this season, too. After all, he does possess an incredibly low 6.7 shooting percentage that's begging for regression.

Perry collected two assists over just 14:30 of ice time during Wednesday's win over the Bruins.

Thankfully, Perry is marking the assists column rather frequently because his 11 goals and 6.5 shooting percentage through 62 games are career-low marks. Additionally, the veteran has just four goals through his past 32 outings. There is likely positive regression ahead in the goals column for Perry, but expecting him to fully bounce back to being a high-end scorer is ill-advised.

Perry scored a pair of goals, added an assist and went plus-3 in Thursday's 5-2 road win against Buffalo.

After a 25-game stretch in which he put up zero multi-point efforts and just 11 total points, Perry finally woke up. Unfortunately, he's going to have a tough row to hoe if he wants to parlay this into a hot streak, as the Ducks continue their road trip in Washington on Saturday and Minnesota on Tuesday -- both of those teams boast terrific defense and goaltending.

In the midst of his worst offensive season since 2006-07, Perry's been a major disappointment, and his 0.17 goals per game and 6.2 shooting percentage are career-low marks. The 31-year-old winger likely has some positive regression ahead, especially since he's being utilized in a top offensive role, but it also isn't out of the question that he's past his prime and won't significantly rebound.

Perry snapped a 13-game goal drought Thursday night with a goal against the Avalanche.

Sure, it was the Avs and OK, it was into an empty net. But at the end of it all, a goal is still a goal. Hopefully, this snipe gets Perry rolling again, at least goal wise. He has six points in his last 10 games and remains on pace for a 60-point season. Perry's shooting percentage has to improve -- it's half of his career average. Expect an upswing soon.

While his 22 assists have buoyed his fantasy value to a degree, Perry's scored 30 goals six times, and his current 0.18 goals-per-game mark is the lowest of his career. With a career-low 6.3 shooting percentage, better times are likely ahead for Perry, but it also isn't out of the question that his age-31 season turns out to be his worst showing in the goals column since his sophomore campaign (17 goals) in 2006-07.

Interestingly, Perry played just 11:14 at even strength Tuesday, so his ice time will be something to monitor over the next few games. It was likely an anomaly, but Perry hasn't exactly been the offensive force we're accustomed to, either. The 31-year-old winger has just seven goals through 30 games. However, there should be positive regression ahead of his current 7.8 shooting percentage, as Perry posted a 15.3 mark over his previous six campaigns.

Both of Perry's points came on the power play, which is a great sign since he had yet to score on the man advantage this season. He had 12 power-play goals in 2015-16. The 31-year-old is averaging more ice time this season, which has led to more assists but not more goals. He has six goals and 25 points in 29 games.
