Brayden Schenn enjoyed a two-point night in Adirondack's 4-3 win over St. John on Saturday night.
The 21-year-old Flyers forward had a goal and assist to up his point totals to five in four games. Blessed with a ton of scoring ability, even if it took awhile to show in his rookie season, Schenn should be a lock for at least point-per-game production while in the AHL.

Brayden Schenn couldn't be stopped Saturday night, scoring twice and recording an assist in Adirondack's 6-3 win over Portland.
This shouldn't come as too much of a shock. Schenn didn't have the most productive rookie season in Philadelphia (18 points in 54 games), but he got hotter as the season progressed, scoring 10 of his 12 goals in the last 39 games. He was also a force in the postseason, recording nine points. With a ton of scoring ability, he should have no problem making it look easy in the AHL.

Brayden Schenn has begun training camp with AHL Adirondack because of the NHL lockout.
He is anxious to build off his successful showings with Philadelphia during the second half of the 2011-12 campaign when he scored 10 of his 12 goals in his last 39 games. Schenn said, "I was wanting to build off that, but who says I can't come down here [to the AHL] and continue to develop and gain confidence and just be ready for when another season starts?" The 21-year-old forward added nine points in 11 playoff contests and was starting to look much more comfortable at the NHL level after he started his first year with some injury concerns. Look for him to be a force in the minors, which should help him when the NHL resumes action following the lockout.

The Flyers have sent Brayden Schenn to Adirondack of the American Hockey League.
Schenn and his teammate Sean Couturier, both sure-fire NHLers, will play in the AHL to remain sharp during the NHL lockout. Expect both players to perform marvelously in a league in which they're overqualified to play.

If there is an NHL lockout, the Flyers may send a handful of their young players, including defenseman Brayden Schenn, to the AHL's Adirondack Phantoms to start the season.
Players who are exempt from waivers could be sent down, and that list features Schenn, Sean Couturier, Erik Gustafsson, Eric Wellwood, and Zac Rinaldo, general manager Paul Holmgren said. The Flyers would have to loan the players to the minors before the possible Sept. 15 lockout. The Phantoms will report to camp at the Skate Zone in Voorhees on Sept. 28, and their first day of on-ice practice will be Sept. 29. If the NHL avoids a lockout, veterans will start training camp on Sept. 21 in Voorhees. A handful of Flyers, including goalie Ilya Bryzgalov and center Danny Briere, have been informally working out at the team's practice facility.

Brayden Schenn is excited about the prospect of playing with his brother Luke Schenn.
The two were united after Philadelphia acquired Luke from Toronto in exchange for James van Riemsdyk. "Since I joined the NHL, I've always been asked the question about what it's like playing against your brother. Now, I'll get to see what it feels like the play with him," Brayden said. "I was real surprised when I found out. Luke called me to tell me he was going to be a part of the Flyers. I'm excited and stunned." It seems likely that the Schenn brothers will be playing together in Philadelphia for years to come.

Brayden Schenn netted a goal in Philadelphia's 4-3 overtime loss Thursday night.
Schenn now has three goals and eight points in nine playoff games. His breakout postseason performance makes him a very appealing sleeper candidate for the 2012-13 campaign.

Brayden Schenn produced the game-tying goal and two assists in Philadelphia's comeback win over Pittsburgh in Game 1 of their first-round series Wednesday.
The Philadelphia rookie enjoyed a great postseason debut along with his linemate and veteran playoff performer Daniel Briere, who had two goals to get the Flyers back in the contest. Schenn believes that the way the Flyers battled back will be a tremendous confidence boost for the team's players, especially the younger ones, going into Game 2.

Brayden Schenn scored his 12th of the season and added an assist in the Flyers 4-2 loss to Pittsburgh Saturday.
Schenn ended the season with 18 points and he is only going to get better in the future. Jaromir Jagr scored his 19th of the season and it was a power play effort. Schenn is worth looking at late in playoff pools if you think the Flyers are going to go deep into the post-season.

Brayden Schenn potted two goals in the Flyers 7-1 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs Thursday night.
Schenn struggled through injuries in first three months of 2011-12 and has been very inconsistent afterwards. Schenn isn't a bad player to take a chance on if he's available as a free agent in a single season league and he's definitely worth owning in keeper leagues.
