Brayden Schenn is confident that he can finish the regular season on a high note. "I feel good, I feel fresh," said the 20-year-old rookie, who has dressed in 41 games with the Flyers this year. "I feel good going down the stretch. The season's not done yet. There's still the most important stretch to be played." Schenn struggled through injuries in first three months of 2011-12 and he hasn't contributed much offensively, but he still has loads of potential to succeed at the NHL level.

Despite having scored only five points in 20 games this year, he's a worthwhile short-term pickup thanks to his expanded responsibilities. Jakub Voracek was the other goal scorer in the Flyers win.

The Flyers rookie has struggled with injuries in his first season, which have limited him to 13 games and only three points. Fellow first-year player Sean Couturier provided Philadelphia with the game's winning score in the third.

Schenn entered the year with so much promise, but injuries have thrown a wrench into his development in the early going. He has no points in six games at the NHL level this campaign.
