Brayden Schenn status has been bumped up from out indefinitely to day-to-day. Schenn still shouldn't be counted on to return Friday. He hasn't played since December 3rd.

Brayden Schenn (concussion) has not skated since last Wednesday. He also did not accompany his Philadelphia teammates on currently three-game road trip that begins on Monday night in Colorado. GM Paul Holmgren said there was no change in Schenn's status, but there is speculation that he suffered a setback.

Brayden Schenn (concussion) missed Friday's practice. Schenn was able to practice on Wednesday. What makes this story odd is that Flyers GM Paul Holmgren wasn't sure why he missed practice, but apparently coach Peter Laviolette did. So why was he held out? Well, actually Laviolette decided not to share that information, so we're left to wonder if he had to take a day off due to concussion symptoms. It seems unlikely that it was simply a scheduled day off, given the apparent secrecy and the fact that the GM didn't (or at least claimed not to) know the details.

Brayden Schenn (concussion) was back on the ice for practice on Wednesday. The Philadelphia rookie said he felt much better after suffering a mild concussion on Dec. 3. He isn't expected to return on Thursday, but his progress is encouraging.

The Philadelphia Flyers are hoping that Brayden Schenn (concussion) will be able to return to practice next week. That'd be great news if it happens, but obviously nothing is set in stone. Schenn is dealing with what's believed to be a mild concussion, but that doesn't necessarily mean he'll be back soon.

Brayden Schenn's upper body injury is a concussion. "Our doctors believe he has a mild concussion," Flyers GM Paul Holmgren said, in reference to Schenn. "Brayden will be out indefinitely." Even concussions reported as mild have the potential to keep a player out for a very long time. We'll keep you posted.

Center Brayden Schenn will return to the Philadelphia Flyers' lineup tonight against Anaheim, wearing a clear, protective boot over his skate. Schenn missed 14 games with a broken foot. Hiscustom molded boot will try and minimize the impact of a shot or slash against his foot, which remains fractured. He is still looking for his first NHL goal. For some players, the boot is a hindrance to their skating and turning. The Flyers' players regularly add them onto their skates in practice for drills (like the penalty kill) that involve shots in harms way, but players rarely wear them during a game. "Everyone skates differently," Schenn said. "For me, I just tell myself that I have to wear one. I've got to keep my foot protected. I can't let the puck [get close]. To be honest, it's fitted to my skate and I can't even tell. There's so light, you can barely tell."

Brayden Schenn has been slowed by injuries in his rookie season, but he is hoping for a fresh start during his latest stint with the Philadelphia Flyers. He was limited by a shoulder injury at training camp and missed 14 games with a broken foot. Schenn, who practiced between Max Talbot and Jakub Voracek in Wednesday's practice, will get back to action on Friday in Anaheim. "He's a good hockey player and talented guy, and I'm sure he wants to get in here and be a factor for our team," coach Peter Laviolette said. "He'll get some chances now with guys out of the lineup, play in some situations, and get himself going."

Brayden Schenn has been recalled from the minors. He had been sidelined with a broken foot before going down to the minors last week for a brief stint. Philadelphia can fit him under their salary cap again with Chris Pronger set to undergo knee surgery and Andreas Nodl placed on waivers. Schenn hasn't recorded a point in four appearances with the Flyers this year.

The Philadelphia Flyers have activated Brayden Schenn (foot) have sent him to Adirondack of the AHL. Schenn broke his foot blocking a shot against Montreal on October 26. It is unknown at this time if Schenn is just down in the AHL for conditioning as the Flyers loaned him to their AHL affiliate. Schenn has a wealth of offensive talent and will eventually be a fantasy asset, but this season may not be a good fantasy year for him.
