The 33-year-old Freeney will attract interest in free agency as situational pass rusher. With Freeney's departure, the only holdovers from the Colts' 2006 Super Bowl championship team are Reggie Wayne, Robert Mathis, Antonie Bethea and Adam Vinatieri.
