Levy (hip) practiced in full Thursday, Kyle Meinke of MLive.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
After taking on all practice reps to date this week, Levy is trending toward his season debut Sunday against the Cardinals. If he returns, he would likely shore up a run defense that has been a mid-tier unit through the first quarter of the current campaign, giving up 111.5 yards per game on the ground.

Levy (hip) returned to practice Wednesday, Josh Katzenstein of the Detroit News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Levy was forced to sit out of the Lions' Week 4 Monday night contest against the Seahawks with the hip injury, but returned to practice Wednesday. There is a chance he takes the field Week 5, as the winless Lions play the Cardinals at home.

Levy (hip) has officially been ruled out for Monday's game in Seattle, DetroitLions.com's Tim Twentyman reports.
EDGE Analysis
Levy returned to limited practices this week, after missing more than a month of practice. He was originally listed as doubtful for Monday's game, and he may be back for Week 5 against the Cardinals. The Detroit defense badly needs him, having allowed 83 points and 8.7 yards per pass attempt through three games.

Levy (hip) is doubtful for Monday's game, DetroitLions.com's Tim Twentyman reports.
EDGE Analysis
He returned to practice this week but he is apparently not yet ready to return to game action. This will be the fourth straight game that the All-Pro linebacker misses due to the hip injury. Josh Bynes will start Monday in Levy's place.

Levy (hip) practiced for the second straight day on Friday, but remains questionable for Monday night's game against Seattle, the Detroit Free Press reports.
EDGE Analysis
Defensive coordinator Teryl Austin told reporters that he expects Detroit's defense to receive a big lift when Levy returns, whether it is this week or in the weeks to come. While Levy can be expected to jump back on the 100-tackles-per-season pace he has enjoyed in three of the past four seasons, it isn't as though his replacement, Josh Bynes, has been the problem in Detroit. Bynes is on pace for 107 tackles and is rated as Pro Football Focus' sixth-best 4-3 outside linebacker. Levy will certainly bring some intangibles back into the Lions' defense, but don't expect him to be a cure-all.

Levy (hip) was a limited participant at practice Thursday, the Lions' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Only 10 days after inking a four-year extension with the Lions on Aug. 10, Levy sustained a hip injury in the Lions' second preseason contest and was unable to practice in the interim. The return to drills increases the chances that he makes his season debut Monday at Seattle, but the Lions could confirm his availability upon the release of Saturday's injury report. Once he returns, he'll attempt to accrue 100-plus tackles for the fourth time in five campaigns.

Head coach Jim Caldwell has declined to answer questions about whether Levy (hip) will need surgery, the Detroit Free Press reports.
EDGE Analysis
Despite reports from the organization that Levy is improving, the linebacker is slated to miss his third consecutive game and the details regarding his injury have been few and far between. Levy hasn't practiced since Aug. 24 and the Lions defense as a whole is struggling in his absence. After ranking third best in the league in points allowed last season, they rank 27th thus far this season.

Levy (hip) is doubtful for Sunday's game against the Broncos.
EDGE Analysis
Levy still hasn't practiced since Aug. 24, but the Lions aren't quite ready to rule him out for Sunday's game. He'll have an extra day to get ready for Week 4, with the Lions facing the Seahawks on Monday Night Football.

Levy (hip) did not practice Wednesday, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports.
EDGE Analysis
Levy hasn't practice since Aug. 24, however he believes he could be close to returning to the field. Considering there is no timetable for his return, his practice status this week could go a long way in determining if he will play Sunday night against the Broncos.

Levy said he's "getting close" to returning to the field, the Detroit Free Press reports.
EDGE Analysis
Levy has been out of action since August 24, the last day he practiced. Although there is no timetable for the injury, when asked if he would return to practice this week, Levy said, "We'll see. I'm doing everything I can possibly do to get healthy." The sooner Levy returns for the Lions the better, who have been dismal defensively throughout their first two games, giving up 59 points so far this season.
