Levy (quadriceps) was a non-participant in practice Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Levy has missed the Lions' past two games due to his quadriceps injury and could potentially miss more. If he's unable to play against the Bears on Sunday, Thurston Armbrister could see some extra reps once again.

Levy (quadriceps) will not play on Sunday, Tim Twentyman of the Lions' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Levy was previously listed as doubtful to play against the Packers. His absence is a blow for a Detroit defense already without the likes of DE Ziggy Ansah (ankle).

Levy (quad) is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Packers.
EDGE Analysis
Levy's lingering quadriceps injury has derailed his start to this season, preventing him from practicing at all this week. As a result, it's no surprise he's not expected to play against the Packers, but the fact that his backup Antwoine Williams (hamstring) is also doubtful leaves Detroit's linebacking corp with further concerns ahead of Sunday's kickoff.

Levy (quad) did not participate in Wednesday's practice.
EDGE Analysis
Levy's absence from practice is no surprise as he remains considered week-to-week moving forward with the nagging quadriceps injury. His status for the Lions' Week 3 matchup against NFC North foe Detroit is in great jeopardy at this point, while the team could be severely shorthanded at linebacker. His usual backup Antwione Williams (hamstring) also remains uncertain for the contest, so Thurston Armbrister may enter the starting lineup if both Levy and Williams are out.

Levy's (quad) injury could potentially force an extended absence, Kyle Meinke of MLive.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
After playing just 17 total snaps during the 2015 season due to a hip injury, Levy made his much anticipated return to the field for the Lions' Week 1 victory over the Colts. However, he appeared to suffer a quad injury shortly thereafter, which forced him to sit out Week 2. Coach Jim Caldwell wouldn't deny the possibility of an extended absence for the 29-year-old linebacker, although for now, Levy is expected to evaluated on a week-to-week basis. Antwione Williams was expected to take an increase in reps with Levy sidelined, but suffered an injury of his own, so the Lions appear to be short-handed moving forward.

Levy (quadriceps) is inactive for Sunday's Week 2 matchup versus the Titans,
Tim Twentyman of the team's official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran linebacker's chances of suiting up in Week 2 had been proclaimed as very strong earlier in the week, but his condition apparently worsened as the practice week wore on. Levy was unable to take part in any drills throughout the week in preparation for the Titans after having logged all 70 defensive snaps in the opener versus the Colts. Thurston Armbrister and Antoine Williams are expected to see their roles expand in his absence.

Levy (quad) is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against Tennessee.
EDGE Analysis
Defensive coordinator Teryl Austin said Thursday he expected Levy to play, but it's now clear the 29-year-old linebacker is in serious danger of missing Sunday's game. After playing each of Detroit's 70 defensive snaps in the opener, Levy was a non-participant at practice throughout the week. His likely absence will require Thurston Armbrister and/or Antwione Williams to take on expanded roles.

Levy (quad) did not practice Friday, leaving him uncertain for Sunday against the Titans, even though defensive coordinator Teryl Austin said Thursday that the veteran linebacker is expected to play, Kyle Meinke of MLive reports.
EDGE Analysis
Given the conflict between his coach's words and Levy's practice participation, it's best to consider the 29-year-old linebacker questionable for Sunday against Tennessee. Levy played each of Detroit's 70 defensive snaps in a Week 1 win over the Colts, making his first appearance since Week 5 last season. If Levy can't play in Sunday's game, Thurston Armbrister or Antwione Williams will have to fill in.

Lions defensive coordinator Teryl Austin said Thursday that he is "planning on having" Levy available for Sunday's game against the Titans, Kyle Meinke of MLive reports.
EDGE Analysis
Levy has been dealing with a quad injury, but it looks like the Lions have their starting linebacker in their game plan for Sunday despite the fact that he did not practice on Wednesday. Levy should still, however, be seen as questionable, and should he be ruled out Sunday, Antwione Williams could be set to start at right outside linebacker.

Levy is did not practice Wednesday due to a quadriceps injury, Tim Twentyman of DetroitLions.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The injury-prone starting linebacker is dealing with yet another injury, possibly putting his Week 2 status in danger as the Lions host the Titans on Sunday. Levy notched just four tackles during the team's season-opening win over the Colts after missing the entire preseason due to an undisclosed injury, and may have suffered a setback in practice earlier this week. Detroit could be thin at linebacker Sunday if Levy is sidelined, with Antwione Williams potentially slated to start at right outside linebacker.
