Levy had 10 tackles (nine solo), including one tackle for a loss, in Sunday's 34-9 loss to the Patriots.
The Lions are struggling as a team right now, but it hasn't stopped Levy from churning out numbers as one of fantasy football's most productive linebackers. Feel free to continue rolling with him Thursday against the Bears.

Levy opened the season with 10 tackles, nine solo, in Detroit's win over the Giants.
Two of Levy's stops came from behind the line of scrimmage and he also was credited with a pass defended. Levy's tackling has been trending upward in recent years and it looks as though he could be the Lions' leading tackler this year.

New Lions DC Teryl Austin is expected to employ DeAndre Levy as a strict weak-side linebacker.
Levy played the majority of his snaps on the weak side under coach Jim Schwartz and DC Gunther Cunningham last season, but moved around some and had a breakout campaign. He was a stud in coverage, reeling in six interceptions and breaking up 15 passes. With rookie Kyle Van Noy now in the picture on the strong side, Levy will man the WILL spot with Stephen Tulloch at MIKE.

Lions agreed to terms with OLB DeAndre Levy on a multi-year contract.
Struggling through a hamstring injury last season, Levy graded out 41st among 43 qualifying 4-3 outside linebackers according to ProFootballFocus. He posted 81 tackles, no sacks, no forced fumbles and one interception. Still, the cap-strapped Lions apparently see him as an affordable complement to every-down middle linebacker Stephen Tulloch. Free agent SLB Justin Durant now appears unlikely to be back in Detroit.

Lions WLB DeAndre Levy (hamstring) is listed as doubtful for Week 8.
He'll be replaced by undersized special teamer Ashlee Palmer against the Seahawks, upgrading Marshawn Lynch's fantasy matchup. Levy had 37 tackles in Detroit's initial six games. The extent of his hamstring injury is unknown.

Lions OLB DeAndre Levy will reportedly sign his $1.93 million restricted free agent tender this weekend.
Given the second-round tender, Levy plans to take part in offseason workouts beginning Monday. Among 4-3 linebackers, Pro Football Focus graded Levy slightly below average across the board in run support, coverage, and pass rushing efficiency last season. He's set to hit the open market in 2013.

Lions OLB DeAndre Levy plans to sign his restricted free agent tender.
Levy was tendered at the second-round level, which would pay him $1.93 million next season. He's still penciled in at outside linebacker for now, but will be a candidate to shift to the middle if the Lions lose Stephen Tulloch in free agency.

Lions tendered contracts to restricted free agents OLB DeAndre Levy, DT Sammie Lee Hill and OT Corey Hilliard.
Levy has been tendered at the second-round level ($1.93 million), while Hill and Hilliard drew original-round tenders ($1.26 million). Levy is coming off a 109 tackle age-24 season, and keeping him figures to be a priority for the Lions. He could be an in-house candidate to take over at middle linebacker if Stephen Tulloch is lost to free agency.
