Tony Allen had nine points, six rebounds, two steals and a block before leaving Wednesday's game with a bloody mouth. He didn't return after leaving, but we doubt he's in jeopardy of missing time with the injury.

The Grizzlies beat the Bucks on Saturday despite a quiet night from Tony Allen, who finished with just four points, four rebounds and three turnovers. Allen played 29 minutes. The good news is that he was coming off six straight games with double-digit points, and he remains a worthwhile fantasy option with two five-game weeks ahead.

Tony Allen scored 15 points on 5-of-15 shooting with seven rebounds, three steals, and two blocks in 32 minutes on Friday against the Rockets. Allen is getting hot at precisely the right time, and he is a must-own player and probably a must-start player heading into the dual set of five-game weeks on the Grizzlies' schedule.

Tony Allen hit 5-of-12 shots for 13 points, five rebounds, two assists and two steals in 34 minutes of Wednesday's win over the Wolves. O.J. Mayo played just 16 minutes and hit 1-of-6 shots, so Allen got the minutes tonight. Both players are worth adding in preparation of playing five games in each of the next two weeks, but Allen is hotter than Mayo right now.

Tony Allen scored 17 points on 6-of-9 shooting (including a three) with four rebounds, six assists, and two steals in the Grizzlies' loss to the Blazers on Thursday. We don't think Allen will be this good going forward, but with two five-game weeks coming up he should be owned in all formats that reward such abundance. With Zach Randolph being eased in his return to some degree, Allen can also be considered in most other formats, too.

Tony Allen got hot early, hitting 6-of-8 shots for 14 points, three rebounds, two assists and three steals in a loss to the Kings. Allen will be a popular fantasy player when the Grizzlies play back-to-back five-game weeks in early April, but has been too inconsistent to trust on a nightly basis. He had scored a total of five points in his previous two games, but was playing well before that. If you're holding him for the five-game weeks, continue to do so.

Tony Allen had just two points in 19 minutes in Friday's loss to the Raptors. There are no early reports of injury, and O.J. Mayo played 33 minutes and had 10 points, six rebounds, four assists and two 3-pointers. Mayo has been coming on, and if Allen wasn't injured tonight, this could be a signal of a changing of the shooting guard.

Tony Allen scored 18 points in the Grizzlies' 116-111 double-overtime loss to the Lakers on Tuesday, hitting 7-of-12 shots from the field with four rebounds, four assists, and three steals in just 21 minutes. There is value here for Allen, but it's hard to look past Zach Randolph's (knee) imminent return. Feel free to give him a look for short-term work, but hoping for long-term value assumes he can post lines like these in limited minutes on most nights. Marc Gasol added 20 points on an uncharacteristic 10-of-25 shooting with 11 rebounds, three assists, and two steals in the loss.

Coach Lionel Hollins said O.J. Mayo's hot shooting Sunday was the reason Tony Allen started the second half on the bench. Hollins had a quick hook on Sunday as he wasn't happy with the first unit's energy to start the game. Therefore, Allen played just 17 minutes. We'd fully expect him to get his starting role back for Tuesday's game against the Lakers.

Tony Allen played only 18 minutes in Sunday's victory, after playing 21 minutes vs. Phoenix on Saturday. Allen recently dealt with a stomach virus, which could explain the dip, but we're more inclined to pin it on the solid play of Quincy Pondexter. Allen is typically a solid roto-style fantasy player, but he's a borderline option with his minutes this low and the return of Zach Randolph can only hurt him.
