Tony Allen had eight points, two steals and one block in 21 minutes on Saturday, despite missing Friday's practice with a stomach virus. Allen likely wasn't 100 percent but there's no rest for the weary, as the Grizzlies travel to Denver on Sunday before hosting the Lakers at home on Tuesday.

Tony Allen missed practice on Friday with a stomach virus. Allen is questionable for Saturday's game against Phoenix, so those of you still starting him should start looking for viable alternatives.

Tony Allen scored five points on 2-of-6 shooting with five rebounds, two assists, a steal, and a block in 25 minutes on Friday. Allen has fallen off the 12-team radar over the past two weeks and Zach Randolph's return isn't going to help. He belongs on the waiver wire in standard formats.

Tony Allen scored 21 points, which tied his season-high, on Wednesday night, and also added four rebounds, three assists and five steals. Allen is known for his solid percentages and his ability to rack up steals, but the 21 points were an added bonus for his owners tonight. He appears to be back in a good rhythm after missing three games earlier this season due to hip and knee issues.

Tony Allen had 12 points, four rebounds, two steals and one block in his return to the Grizzlies' starting lineup on Sunday. Allen is returning 8th/9th round value on the strength of 1.8 steals, 10.2 points, 3.8 rebounds and decent percentages. He's just picking up where he left off before missing three games with hip and knee issues.

Tony Allen (hip, knee) returned to action on Friday, scoring six points on 2-of-4 shooting with eight rebounds, one steal, and one block in 23 minutes off the bench. The bench role is interesting and it would be disappointing to see it last, but it's possible Lionel Hollins wanted to reward Quincy Pondexter after a career-best night on Wednesday. Pondexter had six points in 16 minutes tonight and is not a fantasy option, while Allen is worth consideration in your lineup once again.

Tony Allen (knee, hip) will play on Friday against the Pacers, but Quincy Pondexter will start again in his place. Pondexter scored a career-high 17 points on Wednesday, so this could be Lionel Hollins rewarding him, tinkering, or simply giving Allen a game to get back eased in. If you want to hold off on Allen on a busy 12-game night, it could make some sense.

Tony Allen (knee, hip) wrote on his Twitter account that he's received clearance to play. Allen was locked into a starting role prior to going down and was averaging 10.8 points, 3.7 rebounds, 1.8 steals and 0.5 blocks in that role.

Tony Allen doesn't appear to be healthy enough to play on Wednesday due to hip and knee injuries. This is good news for O.J. Mayo, who will get more run with Allen out of the lineup. He's day-to-day, and was a game-time decision earlier in the day.
