Tony Allen (hip, knee) wrote on his Twitter account that he's a game-time decision for Wednesday against the Timberwolves. Allen has missed the last two games because he's a little banged up, but he was on a nice little roll before going down. He's averaging 10.8 points, 3.7 rebounds, 1.8 steals and 0.5 blocks in just 25 minutes per game and offers value for owners looking for versatile contributors.

Tony Allen (hip, knee) will not play on Monday against the Spurs, and Quincy Pondexter will start in his place. Look for O.J. Mayo to have a high-volume night, and if you're looking for a deep, deep sleeper for deep, deep leagues then give Dante Cunningham a look as a spot-starter. Otherwise, the rest of the Grizz's big-time fantasy assets will soak up minutes and touches.

Tony Allen (hip, knee) said he'll be a game-time call for Monday's game against the Spurs. Allen was a late scratch for Sunday's loss to the Celtics. "My hip has been sore all week," he said Sunday. "Today was just one of those days. I didn't have lateral movement." Sam Young started in place of Allen, posting 10 points and four rebounds in 24 minutes.

Tony Allen was a very late scratch on Sunday with a sore hip and knee. Sam Young started in his place and will likely start again if Allen isn't ready for Monday's game vs. the Spurs. Allen is having another fine season, averaging 10.8 points with 3.7 rebounds and 1.8 steals -- he's only made three 3-pointers, as distance shooting is not his strength.

Tony Allen scored 18 points on 7-of-12 shooting (including a three) with six rebounds, four assists, and one steal in 32 minutes on Thursday. Allen is a must-own player in 8- and 9-cat leagues and will probably keep that status as long as Zach Randolph (knee) remains out.

Tony Allen hit 6-of-14 shots on his way to 17 points, eight rebounds, two assists, a steal and four blocks in Tuesday's overtime win over the Nuggets. Allen's defense was key to the win, and while we'd like to see him score more consistently, he's starting and putting up nice numbers in steals and blocks, making him an option in most fantasy leagues.

Tony Allen nabbed another five steals on Monday, and pitched in with 12 points on 4-of-9 shooting to with eight rebounds and a block in 36 minutes of action. Allen has two games with five steals apiece in his last three outings, and his elite value in that category combined with good shooting marks from the field and the line make him worth owning in all 8- and 9-cat formats.

Tony Allen had five steals and hit all four of his shots in Friday's win, scoring 13 points with one rebound and one assist in 21 minutes. Allen is providing nice low-end value in 8- and 9-cat leagues and should be owned despite the rocky minutes at times. He has a rather large window with Zach Randolph out to allow the peaks and valleys to work out in owners' favor.

Tony Allen scored 12 points on 5-of-8 shooting with five rebounds, one assist, five steals, and one block in 26 minutes on Thursday against the Knicks. Allen is an animal and is going to see the floor more consistently when Marreese Speights is struggling, as the Grizzlies will just go small and slide everybody over a spot. Since Allen's hot streak started a week or so back and Zach Randolph went down, he has been worth owning in 8/9 cat leagues despite his 13-minute outing on Sunday.

Tony Allen scored 21 points on 6-of-9 shooting (1-of-2 from downtown, 8-of-10 from the foul line) with six rebounds, two assists, and a steal in 29 minutes on Friday. Marreese Speights played six minutes tonight and many were quick to jump the gun on the value he might have in Memphis. Speight is not a great worker and will have to prove himself, which leaves a roster that will be better served playing small and Allen is a versatile, athletic player to fit that scheme. This is his third straight solid outing, and in 8- and 9-cat leagues we could be looking at a repeat of late last year. Allen is worth a look in said 12-team formats.
