Allen also added two rebounds and two assists, and normally he won't shoot such a low percentage like this. Perennially undervalued, he's worth owning in all 8- and 9-cat formats.

Tony Allen had a slow night on Friday against the Warriors, scoring six points on 3-of-9 shooting with three rebounds, one assist, and one steal in 30 minutes. Barring a face-plant, Allen will be fine as an elite steals guy that shoots a good percentage. If the trend of low output continues, we'll start calling on owners to drop him, but not until then.

The comments make it sound like allen could eventually be moved into a bench role, but the defensive-minded swingman will open the year with the starting five.
