Tony Allen hit all eight of his shots and scored a season-high 20 points to go along with two steals and a block in Wednesday's win over the Wolves. His previous high was just 10 points and he came in averaging five per game, so don't read to much into this line. He's always worth a look for steals, but unless he starts scoring in double figures regularly, he probably belongs on waivers. Just keep in mind that he could see a small boost in the absence of Zach Randolph (knee, out eight weeks).

Tony Allen played just 17 minutes on Friday against the Rockets, scoring five points on 2-of-3 shooting with two rebounds, two steals, and one assist. Allen is starting but he's not getting minutes, and with the wing positions in Memphis fairly crowded it's not worth holding the door for Allen. He may end up having fantasy value down the road, bu the upside just isn't there.

Tony Allen played just 15 minutes in Monday's loss to the Spurs, finising with two points, four rebounds and a steal. O.J. Mayo played just 17 minutes and wasn't any better, and the SG job in Memphis may end up being a fantasy black hole. There was no word of an injury on Allen, and while he'll likely be better than this on most nights, Allen and Mayo are not a must-own fantasy players.

Tony Allen took to Twitter on Monday night and appeared to confirm a trade that would send O.J. Mayo to Indy, with Brandon Rush and Josh McRoberts going to Memphis. "Well I know everybody done heard about the trade!!," Allen wrote. "wanna take this time 2 Welcome my new teammates :: b rush and josh mc roberts!!" There's no mention of Mayo in the tweet, but it is widely believed that was the deal the two teams were discussing. We'll wait to hear from another source before changing their teams, but unless Allen is just highly confused, it sounds like this trade probably happened.
