Tony Allen scored eight points on 3-of-9 shooting with six rebounds, four assists, two steals, and one block in the Grizzlies' 99-73 blowout loss to the Clippers at home on Monday.
Allen has been somewhat productive lately so give him a look, while tonight's game can be mostly disregarded for fantasy purposes. Mike Conley hit just 2-of-11 shots for five points and just one assist, Marc Gasol hit 4-of-13 shots for eight points with 10 boards, a steal and a block, and Z-Bo went for 15 and 12 on 5-of-16 shooting. Yuck.

Tony Allen scored 10 points on 4-of-10 shooting with five rebounds, four assists, three steals, and two blocks in 29 minutes against the Kings on Monday.
Allen has been back on the fantasy radar with increased production, augmented by the fact that Quincy Pondexter (knee) is out. He pillaged a Kings team that runs around in circles every night to Benny Hill music, but he's well worth a look as a guy who can put up solid mid-to-late round numbers in 8- and 9-cat formats when he's on his game.

Tony Allen burned his former team, shooting 6-of-8 from the field for 15 points with five boards, two assists and one steal in Wednesday's 93-83 win over the Celtics.
He made his first six attempts with Rajon Rondo guarding him for most of the game. While his season-high 15 points are encouraging, he's still going to be tough to own in standard leagues with his inconsistent stats and lower upside.

Tony Allen had 11 points, six rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block in 27 minutes against the Pacers on Monday.
He had some really ugly possessions in the loss and even shot an airball with the shot clock winding down. Allen may be called upon to help fill the void left by Quincy Pondexter (knee), but it's not likely to make a big enough impact to pick him up standard leagues.

Tony Allen had eight points, three rebounds, one assist, four steals and a block in Wednesday's win.
The problem with Allen is that he just doesn't score, averaging less than six points over his last five games, and hadn't recorded a steal in his previous two games before tonight's explosion. He's a great defensive player, but you can do better in terms of fantasy.

Tony Allen (groin) returned to action on Friday against the Hornets, scoring six points on 3-of-6 shooting with two rebounds, three steals, and a block in 22 minutes.
Allen saw his momentum stalled by a three-game absence, but he had a week of serviceable production for 12-team owners prior to that and is worth keeping an eye on as he gets his feet back underneath him. He might have seen more time had Quincy Pondexter not go 6-of-6 from the field with four treys for 16 points, six boards, and three assists.

Tony Allen (groin) practiced Wednesday but remains questionable for Friday's game against the Hornets.
Allen told Lionel Hollins he'll need a few more practices before knowing whether he can play Friday. Allen missed his third straight game Tuesday after being labeled a game-time decision and it appears he'll likely be a game-time call on Friday.

Tony Allen will miss his third straight game with a groin injury on Tuesday, while Rudy Gay will play despite back spasms.
Both players were game-time decisions, and it sounds like Gay's owners dodged a bullet.
