Maker (ankle) will be sidelined for Wednesday's preseason affair against the Pacers, Eric Nehm of ESPN Milwaukee reports.
EDGE Analysis
Maker is continuing to nurse an ankle injury. There's little indication that it's serious, so the Bucks are likely just exercising caution with their center prospect. Greg Monroe and John Henson will probably see the bulk of the workload at the position.

Maker will not play in Monday's preseason opener against Dallas due to an ankle injury, Eddie Sefko of the Dallas Mornings News reports.
EDGE Analysis
This is the first we've heard of the injury, but apparently Maker is nursing a minor ankle issue and will join Giannis Antetokounmpo (personal) and Jabari Parker (knee) on the inactive list Monday. Consider the second-year big man questionable for Wednesday's matchup with the Pacers.

Maker provided 11 points (3-5 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 4-4 FT), two rebounds and two assists across 21 minutes Thursday in a 104-77 win over the Raptors in Game 3 of the series.
EDGE Analysis
While Maker isn't posting explosive stat lines for the Bucks, he's gradually earning the trust of coach Jason Kidd, as he's been over the 20-minute mark in back-to-back games. The 20-year-old's incredible length and ability to stretch the floor has made him a key complementary player and a good change-of-pace option at center from Greg Monroe, who boasts a more traditional interior game.

Maker posted 23 points (9-12 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 1-3 FT), two rebounds, and one steal over 25 minutes in Friday's 108-105 overtime win against the Pistons.
EDGE Analysis
Maker has been lurking around the Bucks starting five for almost a month now, posting stat lines that can be called underwhelming at best. He posted career-highs in usage and points on Friday, but it remains to be seen if the Aussie has what it takes to make this kind of impact consistently. For now, Friday's outing is an aberration, and he should still be ignored in most formats unless DFS players wish to take a flier on him in a large-field tournament contest.

Maker tallied three points (1-2 FG, 1-1 3Pt), one rebound, one assist and one blocked shot across 11 minutes in Monday's 113-93 loss to the Grizzlies.
EDGE Analysis
Maker only made one bucket in an uneventful start at center on Monday, as he quickly gave way to John Henson and Greg Monroe as the game progressed. This has been a familiar tune of musical chairs since the team lost Jabari Parker (knee) to injury, and it seems that despite playing solely from the bench, Monroe has been the primary beneficiary. At this point, Monroe is the only player in this rotation that garners serious attention as he has logged an average of 26.7 minutes per game since Parker's injury, while Maker has seen an average of only 12.4 minutes per game in that time span. Henson has even done better than Maker with 17.4 minutes per game, and he has only seen the floor in 7 of the 15 games the Bucks have played without Parker. It's hard to find a reason to consider Maker in this crowded group.

Maker will draw the start at center for Monday's tilt against the Cavaliers, despite an earlier report which indicated that John Henson would start.
EDGE Analysis
Maker has started at center for the Bucks since Jabari Parker (knee) went down for the season, and has averaged 5.7 points and 3.7 rebounds across 16.3 minutes per game in that role. That being said, his minutes severely limit his fantasy potential, and he should probably still be avoided in most fantasy formats.

Maker will come off the bench for Monday's contest against the Cavaliers, Bucks radio play-by-play announcer Ted Davis reports.
EDGE Analysis
Coach Jason Kidd has decided to go with John Henson at the center slot to face up against a great rebounder for the Cavaliers in Tristan Thompson. It's unknown whether or not Maker will even see the floor, considering Kidd often relies heavily on Greg Monroe off the bench, and is not shy to hand out DNP-CDs on a regular basis.

Coach Jason Kidd indicated Wednesday that Maker will continue starting at center following the All Star break, Charles Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
Maker slid into the starting lineup at center after Jabari Parker went down for the remainder of the season with a torn ACL. The Bucks direction is somewhat uncertain going forward this season, as the Parker injury hinders their hopes to advance in the playoffs. While they are still likely to be competitive, they figure to favor the players they see as future contributors to the team. Thus, Maker should continue seeing a relatively healthy workload going forward. In his four starts before the break he averaged 7.3 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 1.3 triples across 17.3 minutes per game. Do not be surprised to see his minutes get even more of a boost going forward, so he could be a sneaky source for triples from the center position in deeper leagues.

Maker will draw the start at power forward for Friday's contest against the Lakers.
EDGE Analysis
With Jabari Parker (knee) out for the remainder of the year, the Bucks will been forced to make severe adjustments to their rotation. Coach Jason Kidd has decided to start Maker in Parker's first absence, adding a lengthy three-point threat to the Bucks starting five. Maker has shown ability to put up solid numbers when given rotational minutes, providing 12 points, five rebounds, three blocks, one steal, and one assist across 24 minutes Feb. 1 against the Jazz.

Maker will move to a bench role Friday against the Nuggets, Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
Despite recording a career-high 12 points in 24 minutes during Wednesday's loss to the Jazz, Maker won't pick up his third start in a row, as coach Jason Kidd has decided to go back to John Henson as his center on the top unit. The Bucks shook up their frontcourt ranks Thursday by trading Miles Plumlee, who was held out of the rotation Wednesday, to the Hornets in exchange for Roy Hibbert and Spencer Hawes, but neither of the two pickups are expected to be available for either leg of Milwaukee's weekend back-to-back set. As a result, Kidd said he still plans to use Maker off the bench, though the rookie may see more of his time at power forward while Henson and Greg Monroe cover the bulk of the minutes at center. Maker's usefulness still remains mostly relegated to dynasty formats, as he's unlikely to see extended run this season until the Bucks are well removed from the playoff race.
