Maker tallied three points (1-2 FG, 1-1 3Pt), one rebound, one assist and one blocked shot across 11 minutes in Monday's 113-93 loss to the Grizzlies.
EDGE Analysis
Maker only made one bucket in an uneventful start at center on Monday, as he quickly gave way to John Henson and Greg Monroe as the game progressed. This has been a familiar tune of musical chairs since the team lost Jabari Parker (knee) to injury, and it seems that despite playing solely from the bench, Monroe has been the primary beneficiary. At this point, Monroe is the only player in this rotation that garners serious attention as he has logged an average of 26.7 minutes per game since Parker's injury, while Maker has seen an average of only 12.4 minutes per game in that time span. Henson has even done better than Maker with 17.4 minutes per game, and he has only seen the floor in 7 of the 15 games the Bucks have played without Parker. It's hard to find a reason to consider Maker in this crowded group.
