Carroll was limited to three points (1-4 FG, 1-4 3Pt), two steals, two blocks and one rebound Thursday across 14 minutes in a 104-77 loss to the Bucks in Game 3 of the series.
EDGE Analysis
Even though he was able to suit up for 72 games during the regular season, Carroll just hasn't looked the same since requiring arthroscopic right knee surgery in 2015-16 and missing most of his inaugural campaign with the Raptors. The team had been counting on Carroll to slow down the Bucks' dominant wing duo of Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton, but he's been unable to provide much resistance for the first three games of the series and has seen his minutes take a hit in each successive contest. It wouldn't be surprising if he cedes more time in Saturday's Game 4 to the likes of P.J. Tucker or Norman Powell.

Carroll (back) returned from a two-game absence and contributed three points (1-5 FG, 1-3 3Pt), three rebounds, one assist and one block across 25 minutes during a 110-106 loss to the Hornets on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Carroll was mostly nonexistent in the return to the floor, as he just made one shot across 25 minutes of action. He will be better than this in most games, but don't expect much from Carroll other than minimal points and three-pointers.

Carroll (back) will play and start in Wednesday's game against the Hornets, Raptors radio play-by-play announcer Eric Smith reports.
EDGE Analysis
Carroll was given a probable designation earlier Wednesday, so this was the expected course of action all along. The Raptors haven't announced any sort of minutes restriction, so look for Carroll to take on a full workload like usual. With Carroll rejoining the starting five, P.J. Tucker will move back to the bench and should see slight drop in minutes moving forward.

Carroll (back) participated in morning shootaround and will try to participate in Wednesday's action against the Hornets, Josh Lewenberg of The Sports Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
According to Raptors play by play analyst Eric Smith, coach Dwane Casey expects Carroll suited up and ready to go -- taking back his starting spot if he plays. Carroll has missed the past two outings due to back soreness, opening up time for P.J. Tucker and Normal Powell in the rotation. Carroll shouldn't be considered a lock for Wednesday's game at this moment, but all signs are pointing to him probably being in the starting five when the ball tips off.

Carroll (back) will not play Monday against Orlando.
EDGE Analysis
A sore back will keep Carroll out for the second straight game, meaning P.J. Tucker will be in line for another start at small forward. In Saturday's win over the Mavs, Tucker played 34 minutes and finished with a well-rounded line of nine points, nine rebounds, three assists, and four steals. Consider Carroll day-to-day and questionable for Wednesday's home matchup with Charlotte.

Carroll will be sidelined for Saturday's tilt against the Mavericks with a sore lower back.
EDGE Analysis
This is the first news of Carroll nursing a sore back, but it's apparently nagging him enough to cause him to miss Saturday's action. Norman Powell and P.J. Tucker will likely be the main beneficiaries of Carroll's absence, with one of the two probably drawing the start at small forward.

Carrol (ankle) scored two points (1-3 FG, 0-2 3Pt) and added three rebounds, one steal and one block in 15 minutes during Thursday's 123-102 loss to the Thunder.
EDGE Analysis
Carroll returned to the starting lineup after missing two games. Despite the start, Thursday tied his season low for minutes. Carroll is hard to justify owning in all but the deepest leagues. Even excluding Thursday's game because of the limited minutes, Carroll is still only averaging 6.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.3 steals to go along with 32.6 percent field goal shooting since the All-Star break.

Carroll (ankle) will return to the starting lineup Thursday against Oklahoma City.
EDGE Analysis
A nagging ankle injury has kept Carroll out of three of the last four games, but after going through a full practice Wednesday he's been cleared to return to action. The Missouri product has struggled this season, averaging just 9.3 points and 4.1 rebounds in 27.4 minutes per game. Carroll, a career 44.4 percent field goal shooter, is hitting just 40.4 percent of his attempts on the year, while knocking down only 33.8 percent of his threes.

Carroll (ankle) took part in Wednesday's practice and hopes to play in Thursday's matchup with the Thunder, Josh Lewenberg of TSN Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Carroll has missed the last two games with a lingering ankle injury, but his availability for Wednesday's practice bodes well for a Thursday return. That said, while Carroll hopes to play Thursday, he did mention that the ankle is still quite sore, so there's still a chance he's ultimately held out if it doesn't improve overnight. Look for Carroll's status to be updated again following the team's morning shootaround.

Carroll (ankle) will sit out Monday's matchup with the Mavericks, Josh Lewenberg of TSN Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Carroll continues to work his way back from a lingering ankle issue and after testing out the injury during pregame warmups, he's opted to shut it down for at least one more game to prevent any additional aggravations. Norman Powell should draw a second consecutive start at small forward after posting 14 points and one rebound across 35 minutes on Saturday against the Heat. Carroll's next opportunity to play will be Thursday against the Thunder.
