Johnson played a ferocious 34 minutes in Monday's home win versus the Magic, producing 11 points, 11 boards, two assists and three blocks.
EDGE Analysis
Johnson's winter woes with plantar fasciitis seem to be behind him, as he now has played 23 or more minutes in each of Boston's last five games. That includes 58 total minutes in the C's Sunday-Monday back-to-back. More importantly, Johnson has upped his game, averaging 10.8 points, 9.2 points, 1.4 blocks while shooting 77 percent over his last five games.

Johnson put up a season-high 18 points (9-10 FG) to go with eight rebounds and two blocks over 24 minutes in Sunday's 120-105 win against the 76ers.
EDGE Analysis
Though he hasn't directly replaced Jae Crowder's (ankle) court time, Johnson has nonetheless seen his minutes creep up in each of the last four games while Crowder has been sidelined. He's averaging 10.8 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 1.3 assists over 24.5 minutes during that stretch, while shooting an excellent 75 percent from the field. Johnson should continue to surpass the 20-minute mark while the quality of his play remains high, but considering he doesn't even have a 20-point game on his ledger his season, his upside remains fairly low in daily formats.

Johnson scored 11 points (5-7 FG, 1-1 FT) to go with 12 rebounds, five assists, and a block over 25 minutes in a 130-109 loss to the Celtics on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
A starter in coach Brad Stevens' rotation, Johnson has only recently begun receiving starter-level minutes; playing at least 23 minutes in each of his last two games. Johnson signed a two-year, $24 million contract with the Celtics over the offseason, but otherwise hasn't held a significant role on the team. His 22.3 minutes per game is his lowest season total since 2009-10, and Wednesday's double-double was just his fifth of the season.

Johnson started Wednesday's win over Memphis, but posted only a pedestrian three points, two rebounds, two assists and one block during 18 minutes of play.
EDGE Analysis
Johnson has become a "starter" in name only, averaging only 18 minutes, 5.2 points, 4.4 rebounds and 0.9 blocks over his last 10 games. For very deep leagues, he can provide useful big-man stats. But for standard leagues, he's bench fodder. Johnson will need injuries to Boston's other front court players to become useful in daily fantasy.

Johnson was held to six points (3-7 FG), six rebounds, two blocks and an assist in 14 minutes on Wednesday in a win over the Trail Blazers.
EDGE Analysis
Johnson has been a crucial part of the Celtics' success, but his 14 minutes on Wednesday were definitely a disappointment to his fantasy owners. Johnson has only averaged 18.8 minutes in his last 13 games and it seems like he'll only see more time in matchups against versatile forwards and centers. Now is the time to pull the plug on Johnson, if you haven't done so already, and find another big guy down low that is seeing more consistent minutes.

Johnson contributed two points (1-3 FG), one rebound, one assist, and one block across 15 minutes in Monday's 124-122 loss to the Timberwolves.
EDGE Analysis
Johnson has seen fewer than 20 minutes in each of the Celtics' last four games, so despite his continued presence in a starting role, he's not on the court nearly enough to deliver helpful production. He might be worth dropping in mid-sized or deeper leagues until his playing time creeps back up.

Johnson, despite starting, collected zero points and zero boards during 13 minutes of play in Wednesday's OT win versus the Clippers.
EDGE Analysis
Johnson continues to start for the C's, but has significantly cooled off. Over his past five games, all starts, he's averaged only 4.8 points, 4.6 boards and 0.4 blocks per game. In fact, he has scored in single digits in each of his last 15 games, after nearly averaging a double-double the first half of January. The re-emergence of Tyler Zeller and Jared Sullinger in the rotation is having a negative impact on Johnson's stats.

Johnson had nine points (4-7 FG, 1-2 FT), 13 rebounds, six assists, three steals and a block in a win against Denver on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Johnson had a great night on the glass with the 13 rebounds, but more impressively, seven of them were on the offensive end. Johnson has had a great season thus far and is currently holding off Jared Sullinger and Kelly Olynyk for the majority of minutes in Boston's rotation. Johnson is a safe play on most nights, and a productive cheap option for DFS purposes if he has a favorable matchup.

Johnson (personal) managed three points (1-3 FG, 1-2 FT), 12 rebounds, five assists, two steals, and one block in 20 minutes during the Celtics' 112-92 win against the 76ers on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Johnson missed Friday's game for personal reasons, but rejoined the Celtics for Sunday's match-up versus the 76ers. After a recent hot streak, Johnson has cooled considerably, averaging 3.8 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.8 assists, one steal, and one block in 21 minutes per game over the last four contests. Though Johnson can fill up a stat sheet on any given night, he has always been better known as a guy who does all the little things, and the team's front-court rotation is very deep.

Johnson will start in Sunday's tilt against Philadelphia.
EDGE Analysis
Johnson missed Friday's game for personal reasons but was able to rejoin the team on Saturday despite travel concerns due to a winter storm. Kelly Olynyk started in Johnson's place on Friday and will return to his role off the bench.
