Johnson is dealing with plantar fasciitis and is "50-50" for Monday's game against the Timberwolves, Gary Washburn of the Boston Globe reports.
EDGE Analysis
Johnson did not participate in practice on Sunday due to the injury. The 10-year vet has yet to miss a game this season, his first in Boston. If he isn't able to go look for David Lee to grab the start, with Jonas Jerebko seeing more action off the bench. A decision on Johnson's status could come down to a game-time decision on Monday night.

Johnson continues to start for Boston, despite coach Brad Stevens' lineup experiments. Over his last five games, Johnson has averaged a steady 7.6 points, 5.0 boards, 1.6 blocks and 0.8 steals from 24 minutes of play.
EDGE Analysis
Johnson's defense and veteran presence have been a nice fit in Boston. His low ceiling, high floor make him an under-the-radar season-long play, but also someone to generally avoid in daily games. Coach Stevens clearly appreciates his defensive hustle, but looks to Isaiah Thomas and others for scoring punch.

Johnson managed 11 points (5-11 FG, 1-4 3Pt), 11 rebounds, an assist, a block and a steal over 32 minutes in Saturday's 108-105 loss to the Spurs.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran tallied his second double-double in the last three games, after posting single-digit scoring performances in nine straight outings prior. While he's been lackluster with his scoring, Johnson has been relatively strong on the boards in his debut season with the Celtics. He's managed 28 boards over the last three contests, and posted seven rebounds or better in six of the last seven games.

Johnson scored 13 points with 10 rebounds, two assists, two blocks, and a steal in 33 minutes against the Heat on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Johnson had an impressive performance Monday due to the 33 minutes he played, however his playing time has been inconsistent this year because of head coach Brad Stevens not being afraid to change up his lineups all the time. Johnson has been very good and a great fantasy option when he's on the court, but until he sees a more consistent role it's hard to gauge his overall fantasy value.

Johnson has scored eight or fewer points in his last five games, including only posting two points during Sunday's loss in Brooklyn.
EDGE Analysis
Johnson has been in Boston's starting lineup since November 4th, but his offensive production has tailed off. Over his past five contests, he's averaging only 5.8 points and 3.6 boards from 24 minutes of play with a total of only one three point attempt. On the positive, he continues to anchor Boston's frontcourt defense with 1.2 blocks per game over those same five games.

Johnson recorded 19 points (8-14 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), eight rebounds, four assists, three steals, and three blocks in 36 minutes during the Celtics' 106-93 win versus the Hawks on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Johnson tallied his season-high in points, assists, steals, blocks, and minutes on Friday, dominating both ends of the floor during the Celtics' win. Coach Brad Stevens' rotation can definitely be a headache for fantasy owners, and with so many reliable big men in Johnson, Jared Sullinger, David Lee, Tyler Zeller, and Kelly Olynyk, there will still likely be nights where Johnson struggles to find the floor for extended minutes. However, his versatility appears to have at least helped him win a starting spot for now, though that's translated into only 22 minutes per game thus far this season.

Johnson (ankle) contributed five points (2-4 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-2 FT) and six rebounds in 18 minutes during the Celtics' 118-98 win versus the Wizards on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Johnson (ankle) turned it over twice and committed four fouls, but the fact that he was able to take the floor after leaving Wednesday's game versus the Pacers is encouraging. Still, the Celtics' front-court depth makes it difficult to trust Johnson in most fantasy formats.

Johnson (ankle) will be available Friday against the Wizards, A. Sherrod Blakely of Comcast SportsNet reports.
EDGE Analysis
Johnson twisted his ankle Wednesday against the Pacers, but it doesn't appear too be anything to serious. That being said, Johnson may be held to limited playing time depending on how he feels going full-speed. He shares a frontcourt with Kelly Olynyk, David Lee, and Jared Sullinger, so given the uncertain effect of Johnson's ankle on his game, it may be a better idea to target these players in daily leagues Friday.

Johnson (ankle) is considered questionable
EDGE Analysis
Johnson left Wednesday's game after twisting his ankle, and he missed the entire second half. Coach Brad Stevens confirmed that Johnson sat out Thursday's practice, and he said Johnson has a "50-50" chance of playing Friday.

Johnson missed the second half of Boston's game Wednesday night due to a twisted ankle, Chris Forsberg of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Johnson was apparently still available if needed, but coach Brad Stevens opted to play Jared Sullinger, David Lee and Kelly Olynyk instead during the loss to Indiana. Wednesday's game was Johnson's first start for the Celtics. Boston has not yet announced who will start in Friday's home game versus Washington.
