Davies (11-7) gave up three earned runs on seven hits and a walk over five innings in Saturday's 11-3 victory over the Cubs. He struck out five.
EDGE Analysis
The young righty was solid against a dangerous Cubs lineup, throwing 54 of 86 pitches for strikes and inducing 14 swinging strikes overall. Davies troubles were limited to the first inning, when he gave up an RBI triple to Kris Bryant and a 388-foot two-run shot to Chris Coghlan. He settled down from that point forward, notching his second victory in his last three decisions. Davies will try for two in a row when he takes on the Reds next Saturday.

Davies (10-7) allowed three runs -- two earned -- over 6.2 innings on Monday against the Cubs. He gave up six hits, walked two, and struck out three.
EDGE Analysis
Davies has been on a roll of late, allowing just six earned over his last 19 innings. The 23-year-old had a couple hiccups in August, but has been a serviceable option for the Brewers all season. He'll carry a 4.01 ERA and 1.25 WHIP into his start Sunday against St. Louis.

Davies allowed three runs on seven hits and struck out nine over 6.1 innings in a no-decision Monday against St. Louis.
EDGE Analysis
Davies has rebounded from a disaster start August 18 against the Cubs with a pair of quality starts. Nine strikeouts ties his season high, set twice before this season, June 1 against the Cardinals and June 24 against the Nationals. Davies allowed two more home runs and has now served up 18 in 24 starts this season, but he has a sharp 117:34 K:BB in 139.1 innings and has been one of the few Brewers starters to show promise for the future in 2016.

Davies (10-6) allowed one run on five hits, struck out eight and walked three over six frames in a victory over the Rockies on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Nolan Arenado smashed a solo bomb in the first inning, but that's all Colorado would push across against the right-hander. Davies threw 60 of his 101 pitches for strikes and stranded the other five base runners for the Rockies. He is 10-6 with a 4.06 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 108 strikeouts over 133.0 innings this season. He will pitch again versus the Cardinals on Monday.

Davies (9-6) was hammered over four innings by the Cubs in Thursday's loss. He allowed seven runs on 10 hits and one walk while striking out four.
EDGE Analysis
Davies, who held the Cubs to one run over 6.1 innings just a few starts ago, was lit up for a season high in hits and runs allowed this time around. The 23-year-old righty has been the Brewers best arm overall this season, but he's struggled mightily in his last two outings. After going 9-1 over a 16-game stretch from May 10 to August 8, Davies has now dropped his last two starts while giving up 12 runs on 18 hits -- spiking his ERA from 3.58 to 4.18 -- over just nine innings. He'll look to get back on track in his next start Wednesday at home against the Rockies.

Davies (9-5) allowed five runs on eight hits, struck out four and walked one in a loss to the Reds on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
He had limited Cincinnati to just one run in five innings, but after allowing the first four base runners to reach in the sixth, Davies exited without recording an out in the frame. He now has a 3.80 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 96 strikeouts in 123.0 innings this season.

Davies allowed three runs on eight hits and struck out three over seven innings in a no-decision Monday against Atlanta.
EDGE Analysis
Davies was done in by a pair of solo home runs and struggled to miss bats, as he induced just four swinging strikes in 93 pitches. However, he kept the floodgates from bursting with 14 groundball outs, including the spoils of two double play balls. Davies has been somewhat prone to the home run ball this season (14 in 20 starts), but he has mitigated it with solid control (2.2 BB/9) and a 47.6 percent groundball rate.

Davies (8-4) pitched 6.1 quality innings, allowing two earned runs, six hits and one walk while striking out five in Thursday's win over the Diamondbacks.
EDGE Analysis
The sophomore right-hander is rolling through the dog days of summer, collecting his fourth straight quality start while winning his third straight decision -- which includes victories over the NL division leaders, the Cubs and Nationals. Davies performance Thursday afternoon knocked his ERA down to a season-best 3.59 and made him 8-1 since May 10. There's a chance he's been overlooked in many leagues due to the team he plays for, but Davies has done more than enough to earn respect under any format. He draws a favorable matchup with a pathetic Padres lineup in his next start Tuesday.

Davies (7-4) allowed one run on three hits, struck out four and walked two over 6.1 innings in a victory over the Cubs on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
The 23-year-old has been on quite a run, allowing just three runs in his last 20 innings. The three hits Davies allowed Saturday were the fewest for him in a start since he yielded three hits versus the Mets on June 12. He is now 7-4 with a 3.64 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 80 strikeouts in 99 innings this season. Davies will look to keep it going on Thursday versus the Diamondbacks.

Davies (6-4) came away with a no-decision Sunday despite holding the Reds scoreless for seven innings, allowing just four hits while striking out five.
EDGE Analysis
He and Dan Straily traded goose eggs for seven innings before Billy Hamilton scampered home on a passed ball in the ninth inning for the game's only run. Davies wasn't particularly sharp, throwing 59 of 92 pitches for strikes and just 14 first-pitch strikes to 23 batters, but Cincinnati hitters weren't able to make much solid contact against him. He'll next take the mound Saturday in a tough home matchup against the Cubs.
