Davies (2-3) surrendered six hits and five runs (two earned) over 5.2 innings in Friday's 9-5 victory over the Reds. He struck out four.
EDGE Analysis
It didn't look good early, as Davies was touched up by Adam Duvall for a three-run homer in the opening frame. However, the 23-year-old settled down after that point, only surrendering a sacrifice fly to Tyler Holt and a solo homer to Joey Votto before exiting with a man on and two out in the sixth. Despite notching two victories in his last three trips to the mound, Davies continues to make things interesting, having surrendered 11 runs (eight earned), including five homers, over that span.

Davies allowed four runs on five hits and two walks while striking out five over 5.1 innings, but received no decision Saturday at the Mets.
EDGE Analysis
Davies had a three-run lead, only to let it slip away in a game the Brewers would go on to lose. This was the first time in four outings that he allowed more than two runs, and his ERA rose to 5.75. He'll make his next start Friday against the Reds.

Davies allowed two runs on three hits while striking out six over 6.1 innings, but received no decision Sunday against the Padres.
EDGE Analysis
Davies had a one-run lead before allowing a solo homer in the seventh inning which cost him an opportunity to pick up a win. He's now held opponents to two runs in each of his last three starts to lower his ERA to 5.58. He'll make his next start Saturday at the Mets.

Davies (1-3) allowed two runs on five hits and three walks with one strikeout in Tuesday's win over the Marlins.
EDGE Analysis
Davies lasted just long enough to get through five innings and secure the win behind the 10 runs of support the Brewers gave him, but it was shaky all the way. The Marlins put runners in scoring position in four of Davies' five innings. He couldn't miss bats, as he induced just two swinging strikes, and he threw just four more strikes (43) than balls (39). Davies has a rough 14:13 K:BB in 24.1 innings, and his 6.29 ERA isn't going to get much better unless he can find his control soon.

Davies struck out three and walked three while holding the Angels to two runs on five hits over six innings in a no-decision Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
The quality start Wednesday is Davies' first of the 2016 campaign in four tries. Given the lack of alternatives, he'll continue to occupy a spot in the Milwaukee rotation for the foreseeable future, but his struggle with walks during his brief time as a big league starter continues to be problematic. At his best, Davies will keep the ball down in the strike zone and induce a steady supply of groundouts. He's lined up for a two-start week, beginning Monday at Miami followed by a May 14 turn at home against the Padres.

Davies (0-3) gave up six hits, four earned runs and three walks over five innings in Friday's 6-3 loss to the Marlins. He struck out five.
EDGE Analysis
The 23-year-old's forgettable start to the season continued, with Davies giving up at least four runs for the third time in his three trips to the mound. A complete lack of run support by his teammates versus the Marlins' Adam Conley certainly didn't help, as the Brewers found themselves completely blanked until the final frame. Davies didn't help his cause by frequently missing the strike zone, throwing only 54 of his 92 pitches for strikes. He's generated a 10:7 K:BB ratio on the season over 13.1 innings, and will try to right the ship in his next start on Wednesday against the Angels.

Davies gave up four runs on nine hits and one walk while striking out five in six innings Friday against the Phillies.
EDGE Analysis
He is now 0-2 after two starts, and while Friday's outing was slightly better than his first start of the season, it was still not what fantasy owners are looking for. Davies is not overpowering, so he needs to execute his pitches and get a little lucky on balls in play in order to avoid nights like Friday, where he gave up nine hits. Assuming he sticks in the rotation for at least one more start, that next outing will come Thursday on the road against the Cubs -- a game his owners will surely want to leave him on the bench for.

Davies (0-1) got roughed up Sunday, allowing six runs (five earned) on eight hits and three walks over just 2.1 innings in a 9-3 loss to the Pirates. He didn't strike out a batter.
EDGE Analysis
It's safe to say his 2016 debut didn't exactly go as Davies would have hoped. The Brewers don't have any other obvious options for their fifth starter spot at the moment, as Jorge Lopez is also off to a poor start for Triple-A Colorado Springs, but Davies will need to pitch better than this if he wants to remain in the rotation. His next start will come Friday, at home against the Phillies.

Manager Craig Counsell confirmed Friday that Davies will be called up to start Sunday's game against the Pirates, Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Brewers will need a fifth starter this weekend for the first time this season, so they will bring up Davies and add him to the rotation. He will remain in the rotation until Matt Garza (shoulder) is healthy, and possibly beyond. Davies will be tested in his 2016 big league start: he faced the Pirates twice last season and did not fare well, giving up 10 earned runs in a combined eight innings.

Davies will likely be called up to start Sunday against the Pirates, according to Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
EDGE Analysis
The Brewers have not needed a fifth starter yet this season, but they will finally need one Sunday, and it appears the team will turn to Davies, who started six games for the big league club in 2015. Davies allowed just one earned run and struck out eight over five innings in his first outing this season with Triple-A Colorado Springs, and he is set to take the ball again Tuesday night in what appears to be his final tune-up before joining the major league squad.
