Davies was recalled from Triple-A Colorado Springs on Saturday and will start Sunday's finale against the Reds, the MIlwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
Davies was sent down to Colorado Springs prior to the All-Star break and did not pitch for the Sky Sox as the organization wanted to give him an extended rest period. The right-hander, who's 6-4 with a 4.10 ERA in 15 starts, will be making his first start since July 5.

Davies won't start at Triple-A Colorado Springs Sunday, Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
While it was expected that Davies would pitch at Colorado Springs before heading into the All-Star break, that doesn't appear to be the case. There's yet to be news as to when he'll be recalled, but it's likely to be sometime shortly after the All-Star break, as Davies had been improving with Milwaukee and went 3-1 with a 2.89 ERA in June.

Davies was optioned to Triple-A Colorado Springs on Wednesday, Fox Sports Wisconsin reports.
EDGE Analysis
Davies improved to 6-4 with a win Tuesday evening, but with the All-Star break around the corner, he'll head back to Triple-A, presumably so he can make his regular turn in the rotation. The Brewers used the vacant roster move to call up a utility bench option in Andy Wilkins. Look for Davis to re-join the rotation at some point after the break.

Davies (6-4) pitched 6.2 innings, allowing two runs, nine hits and one walk while striking out three in Tuesday's win over the Nationals.
EDGE Analysis
The 23-year-old rebounded nicely after allowing nine runs on 15 hits over his previous two starts combined. After going winless in the season's first month, Davies is now 6-1 since May. He allowed a career-high three homers in his last start, but made a nice adjustment Tuesday by keeping the ball down in the zone and inducing a season-high 11 groundouts. The sophomore will hit the break sporting a 4.10 ERA after 15 starts.

Davies (5-4) took it on the chin at home Thursday against the Dodgers. He was hooked after allowing six runs, eight hits and two walks while striking out three in just 4.1 innings.
EDGE Analysis
Thursday's outing snapped a long streak of effective starts for Davies. From May 4 through Wednesday -- covering Davies' last 10 starts -- he was 5-0 with a 2.46 ERA, tied for 10th best in the NL over that period. The sophomore right-hander entered the game with a respectable 3.74 ERA, but left it with a blemished 4.22 mark. Davies three strikeouts were his least amount since May 10 when he whiffed just one batter. He'll look to start a new streak in his next start Tuesday in Washington.

Davies allowed three runs on seven hits and one walk while striking out nine over five innings, but received no decision Friday against the Nationals.
EDGE Analysis
Davies left the game with the Brewers down by a run, but the offense scored once in the bottom of the frame to take him off the hook for a potential loss. He'll make his next start Wednesday against the Dodgers.

Davies stayed sharp in Friday's start versus the Dodgers, allowing just one run with six strikeouts and one walk across seven strong innings. He did not factor into the decision as the game was decided in extra innings.
EDGE Analysis
Davies pounded the strike zone at a 64% clip and induced an impressive 15 swinging strikes, but the Brewers offense couldn't mount much of a charge and failed to help secure his fifth straight win. The right-hander has been on a roll over his last four starts, as he now has a 27:5 K:BB ratio and a minuscule 0.96 ERA over 28 innings during that span. He looks to be developing into a fine major league starter and will look to keep it rolling next Friday versus Washington on two extra days' rest.

Davies (5-3) allowed one unearned run on three hits and one walk while striking out seven over six innings to earn the win Sunday against the Mets.
EDGE Analysis
Davies shut down the Mets' hitters while the Brewers' offense provided him with a four-run lead that the bullpen was able to hold onto. After ending May with a 5.40 ERA, he's only allowed two earned runs in 21 innings over three June starts to lower his ERA to 3.88. He'll make his next start Friday at the Dodgers.

Davies (4-3) gave up two runs on two hits and three walks with five strikeouts over seven innings in a win Tuesday over the Athletics.
EDGE Analysis
Davies carried a no-hitter into the seventh inning only to have it broken up by a Billy Butler two-run home run. Still, Davies came away with another start to be proud of on the heels of his eight shutout innings with nine strikeouts last time against the Cardinals. Davis has allowed more than two earned runs just once in his past seven starts after a rough beginning of the season that left him with an 8.78 ERA after his first three outings. Davies has his ERA down to 4.29 after Tuesday's effort and is realizing some of the promise he showed in a brief major league stint in 2015 (3.71 ERA, 1.21 WHIP in 34 innings for the Brewers).

Davies threw eight shutout innings, allowing just three hits, striking out nine and walking none in a 3-1 victory over the Cardinals on Wednesday afternoon.
EDGE Analysis
This is by far the best start of his career. Davies has posted a scoreless outing two other times in his career, but in neither one did he pitch eight innings or not walk a batter. Additionally, the nine strikeouts were a new career high. The most punchouts Davies had in a start prior to Wednesday was six. He threw 73 of his 105 pitches for strikes, inducing 13 swing-and-misses and recording 24 called strikes. Davies will look to keep this going in his next outing Tuesday against Oakland.
