Skaggs (oblique) is heading to Arizona next week to continue rehabbing, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Skaggs continues to slowly make his way back from a Grade 2 oblique strain that has kept him sidelined since April 28. He'll move to extended spring training where the 25-year-old will keep rehabbing until he is ultimately ready to head out on a rehab assignment. If all goes well, Skaggs is hoping to be back with the Angels before the All-Star break.

Skaggs (oblique) threw off the mound Friday for the first time since landing on the disabled list in late April, Jeff Fletcher of the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
With another sign of positive progress from Skaggs, it appears likely that he will return as soon as he is eligible at the end of June. The Grade 2 oblique strain has caused Skaggs to miss over a month and a half of time now, with his last outing occurring on April 28. A timetable for the rest of his recovery should come into view soon, with bullpen sessions and rehab assignments in the near future.

Skaggs (oblique) said he is expecting to return when he is first eligible to come off the disabled list, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Skaggs has been sidelined for around a month with a Grade 2 oblique strain. If he's able to stick to the timeline, the 25-year-old would rejoin the Angels right around the end of June. A clearer timetable should for the southpaw should become available once he starts to ramp up his throwing program.

Skaggs (oblique) was transferred to the 60-day disabled list Monday, J.P. Hoornstra of the Southern California News Group reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Angels needed a spot on the roster for outfielder Eric Young Jr. in the wake of Mike Trout's thumb injury. Skaggs isn't expected back until around the All-Star break, so this move should have no impact on his timetable.

Skaggs (oblique) was cleared to begin a throwing program Monday, Jeff Fletcher of the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
This is great news for Skaggs, as this will be his first chance to throw since going on the shelf in late April. It's unclear how this impacts the southpaw's timetable for return, but there hasn't been a development that suggests he is behind his original timetable of 10-to-12 weeks.

Skaggs (oblique) said was cleared to resume running Wednesday, Jeff Fletcher of the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
This is an important step as Skaggs continues to slowly work his way back from a Grade 2 oblique strain he suffered at the end of April. The southpaw remains optimistic that he'll be able to return before the 10-to-12 weeks he's expected to miss, though a timetable should become clearer as he continues to progress in his recovery.

Skaggs is expected to miss 10-12 weeks while recovering from a Grade 2 right oblique strain, Mark Feinsand of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
While Skaggs sounded optimistic earlier in the week that his injury wasn't serious, it is now looking like he will in fact need to miss multiple months. At the very earliest, it is now looking like the 25-year-old right-hander will be sidelined until mid-July and possibly even past the all-star break.

Skaggs will be placed on the 10-day DL on Saturday with a right oblique strain, the Orange County Register's Jeff Fletcher reports.
EDGE Analysis
While Skaggs said earlier in the day that he felt much better than he did when he left Friday's start early, the Angels aren't taking any chances with the oft-injured southpaw. Alex Meyer, Manny Banuelos, Daniel Wright and Yusmeiro Petit are all options to get starts while Skaggs is on the shelf, but none are particularly intriguing for fantasy purposes. Skaggs had a 3.99 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 29 strikeouts in 29.1 innings before suffering the injury, proving once again that he is a pretty solid option whenever he is healthy enough to take the ball.

Skaggs (oblique) appears headed for the 10-day DL, Pedro Moura of the Los Angeles Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
He left Friday's start after five innings with side tightness, and the Angels have called up two relievers Saturday, with C.J. Cron (foot) headed to the DL, presumably along with Skaggs, although nothing is official. Skaggs told the Orange County Register's Jeff Fletcher that he felt better Saturday and that he had not been informed of a DL move. Daniel Wright, Yusmeiro Petit, Alex Meyer and Manny Banuelos would all be options to step into the Angels' rotation, although none of them are especially appealing from a fantasy perspective.

Skaggs was forced to leave Friday's start against the Rangers after five innings and 76 pitches due to right side tightness, Victor Rojas of Fox Sports West reports.
EDGE Analysis
Skaggs was excellent through five innings, as he allowed just one run on four hits with six strikeouts. The severity of the injury is currently unclear. Oblique injuries can have a tendency to linger, but hopefully Skaggs can avoid the worst.
