D'Arnaud (hanf) took batting practice Friday and should start a minor-league rehab stint next week, ESPN New York reports. D'Arnaud, out since April 19 with a fractured pinkie bone on his right hand suffered when he was struck by a pitch from A.J. Ramos, likely will next an extended stint in the minors. He may be ready in about 7-10 days, and assuming a Tuesday start date that would put his return date during the Mets' West Coast swing from June 1-7.
