D'Arnaud (hand) has been cleared for all baseball activities besides hitting, Adam Rubin of ESPN New York reports. Hitting is one of the fundamental baseball activities of course, but it's encouraging to see that d'Aranud is ready to shed the soft cast he has been wearing and work toward regaining the strength in his hand. D'Arnaud is still several weeks away from playing for the Mets, but he has a chance to return before month's end.
