Cishek tossed a perfect 10th inning against the Indians on Thursday en route to his third save of the season.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander made quick work of the Tribe after Robinson Cano gave the M's a three-run lead in the top of the inning, retiring the side on nine pitches. Expectations were generally low for Cishek after his disappointing 2015 season, but he has tightened his grip on the closer role by allowing just one run and going 3-for-3 in save chances in seven appearances to begin the campaign.

Cishek picked up his second save of the season, striking out two of the three batters he face in Wednesday's 2-1 victory over the Indians.
EDGE Analysis
In his past three outings, Cishek has a win and two saves. The Mariners' offense has come back to earth after a ridiculous start, which should lead to closer games and more opportunities for the 29-year-old.

Cishek gave up a ninth-inning home run Friday to break a 2-2 tie against the A's as the Mariners lost their home opener.
EDGE Analysis
Cishek missed up, and the ball was crushed 10 rows into right field. Joaquin Benoit is the next line for saves, but Cishek will have to struggle much more than this for the Mariners to pull the plug. It's a situation to keep an eye on, though.

Cishek (biceps) threw a perfect frame against the A's on Thursday. "It felt good," he told MLB.com. "The ball was coming out nice and easy and smooth down the mound. I thought it went really well. I didn't know if I'd be rusty or not going out there, but it was like 100 degrees in the bullpen so it wasn't tough to get loose. I threw a couple pitches and was ready to go."
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander breezed through the inning, striking out Khris Davis and getting Billy Butler and Yonder Alonso to ground out in short order. Cishek missed more than a week with soreness in his biceps, but expects to pitch regularly over the remainder of spring training. He will look to remain in the closer role with Seattle longer than the five weeks or so he was in the role with Miami last season.
