Vogt is out of the lineup Sunday against the Blue Jays.
EDGE Analysis
Vogt was behind the plate for the first two games of the series, and with lefty J.A. Happ starting for the Blue Jays, there wasn't much incentive for A's manager Bob Melvin to keep Vogt in the lineup. Matt McBride will handle duties behind the plate.

Vogt finshed 3-for-4 with a home run, two RBI and two runs scored in Friday's win over the Blue Jays.
EDGE Analysis
Vogt was the hero Friday, as he leveled the game at seven with a solo blast to center in the fifth inning before knocking in the game-winning run with a single to center in the seventh. The 31-year-old now has five extra-base hits, five RBI and five runs scored over the last three games and will look to improve upon a lackluster first half for a middling Athletics club.

Vogt is out of the lineup for Sunday's game in Houston, MLB Network's Susan Slusser reports.
EDGE Analysis
The A's will go with a righty-heavy lineup in their last game before the All-Star break, as Vogt and Josh Reddick have both been miserable against southpaws this season. Matt McBride will start behind the plate and bat ninth.

Vogt went 3-for-4 with a double, solo homer, two RBI and two runs in Saturday's 3-2 victory over the Astros.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran backstop went deep off Lance McCullers in the second inning, and added an RBI single in the third to plate Josh Reddick. Vogt now has back-to-back multi-hit efforts, and three overall to date in July. He's gotten the new month off to a strong start, slashing .333/.385/.583 over 24 at-bats.

Vogt is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Twins.
EDGE Analysis
Matt McBride will draw in behind the plate for Tuesday's game as Vogt gets the day off against lefty Tommy Milone. Vogt has been stifled by left-handed pitching this season, hitting just .200 with zero home runs off of them in 35 at-bats.

Vogt is out of the lineup Sunday against the Pirates.
EDGE Analysis
Manager Bob Melvin will rest a number of his left-handed hitters with southpaw Francisco Liriano on the mound for the Pirates, with Vogt giving way to new call-up Matt McBride. Look for Vogt to draw back into the lineup for Monday's series opener with the Twins, when right-hander Ricky Nolasco starts for the opposition.

Vogt is not in the lineup for Friday's game against the Pirates.
EDGE Analysis
He will sit in favor of Josh Phegley for a second straight game with the A's facing another southpaw in Jeff Locke. Vogt turned in his best month of the season in June (.824 OPS) but is just 7-for-34 against left-handed pitching this year, and there's little reason to believe the A's will move away from the catching platoon in the near future.

Vogt is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
Vogt will get a day off Thursday in favor of Josh Phegley, who will man the catching duties while batting seventh in the order. The 31-year-old has been having a good year at the plate, hitting .271/.314/.428 with six home runs and 23 RBI during 65 games this seasons. He will likely be back in the lineup Friday against the Pirates.

Vogt is out of the lineup Sunday against the Angels, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
Since Vogt had started the last three days and the Angels are bringing a lefty to the hill in Hector Santiago, Athletics manager Bob Melvin determined it was a good time to give Vogt a day off. Josh Phegley will handle the catching duties for the A's.

Vogt had a big Friday night, going 3-for-5 with his sixth homer of the year.
EDGE Analysis
Vogt's homers are a bit off the 18 he smoked last year, but Friday's three hits did bump his average to .273. With the paucity of effective catching options in fantasy right now, Vogt is a solid option and while his numbers may not be huge, he is a good option at catcher, especially considering he is likely to hit somewhere in the middle of the A's order all year long.
