Vogt is out of the lineup Sunday against the Angels, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Since Vogt had started the last three days and the Angels are bringing a lefty to the hill in Hector Santiago, Athletics manager Bob Melvin determined it was a good time to give Vogt a day off. Josh Phegley will handle the catching duties for the A's.
