Goldschmidt went 2-for-4 with a walk Monday against the Cardinals. Goldschmidt continues to lead the Diamondbacks offensively - his 30 walks on the season rank sixth in baseball and his .442 on-base percentage ranks third. There is some risk that his average will flag a bit, as his .389 BABIP is a bit above his career average, but he has certainly shown he's healthy and that he's back to being an MVP candidate. Start him everywhere.

Goldschmidt had a big day at the plate on Sunday, going 2-for-3 with a home run, three RBI and a walk against the Cubs. Goldy's moster year continues to roll along, as he now has 12 home runs and 28 RBI on the season to go along with eight stolen bases and a 1.073 OPS that ranks second in baseball to Bryce Harper. After an injury- shortened 2014, the 27-year-old has erased all doubts about his productivity moving forward.

Goldschmidt went 0-for-2, but walked and scored twice Saturday against the Cubs. Even when Goldschmidt doesn't collect a hit, he is one of the most valuable players in baseball. His 33 runs scored ranks third and his .431 on-base percentage ranks fifth among qualified hitters. He hasn't gotten as much attention as some other superstars for his start this year, but Goldschmidt is a true five category superstar in fantasy. Enjoy the ride.

Goldschmidt blasted a two-run shot to the tie the game off Cubs closer Hector Rondon in the 10th inning before the D-Backs won it in the 13th. Goldschmidt has been excellent this season, ranking fourth in OPS at 1.052, and is one of just a few players with a shot at a 20-20 season or better. He is a fantasy stud.

Goldschmidt is not in the lineup for Thursday's game against the Marlins. Manager Chip Hale felt it was time to give Goldschmidt his first day off of the season with his first baseman going 2-for-16 (.125) with no extra-base hits and no RBI over his last four games. Mark Trumbo will fill in at first base in Goldschmidt's absence.

Goldschmidt is one of just 11 players with more than five home runs and five stolen bases, and only he and Anthony Rizzo have reached those numbers among first basemen. He is a stud.

Goldschmidt went 3-for-4 with a double, a triple, a walk, an RBI and two runs scored Wednesday against Washington. He ate up Nats starter Gio Gonzalez en route to finishing a homer short of the cycle. Goldy has been simply assaulting Arizona's opponents, as his .347 average, nine homers and six steals will attest. He's been quite arguably the most valuable hitter in fantasy aside from Nelson Cruz.

Goldschmidt is in the lineup Tuesday after being removed from Monday's blowout in third inning. There was no injury reported for Goldschmidt on Monday, and his presence in the lineup for Tuesday affirms that the early exit was entirely the result of manager Chip Hale's desire to get him most of a day off when the game quickly got out of hand.

Goldschmidt exited Monday's game against the Nationals after just one at-bat. This didn't appear to be injury-related. The Diamondbacks went down 10 runs after the first two innings, and the move was presumably just to save the team's best player.
