On top of that, he's now reached base in 27 consecutive games, the longest active streak in the majors. For the season, the 27-year-old has a .363 batting average, 50 runs, 19 homers, 54 RBI and 10 stolen bases.

Goldschmidt had another huge game Monday, going 3-for-4 with his 18th home run, three RBI, a double and a walk against Anaheim. This was Goldy's fifth straight multi-hit game and extended his streak of reaching base safely to 25 consecutive games. Among other categories in which Goldschmidt leads baseball, he received his 16th intentional walk last night, which is six more than the next closest player and more than 22 teams have this year. He might be the most dangerous hitter in the game right now.

Goldschmidt could serve as the DH in one of Arizona's upcoming two-game set against the Angels, reports Zach Buchanan of the Arizona Republic. Take note, just in case you don't see him on the field in one of the upcoming games in the AL park, there is no reason to worry.
