Trout hit his 17th homer and doubled twice in a 3-for-4 game Monday against the Astros.
EDGE Analysis
Trout is on fire, with at least two hits in each of his past five games and six of his past seven. He has also homered in three straight games and is on pace to record his third straight season of 35 or more home runs. His batting line is up to .319/.415/.572 as he continues to make a push for his second MVP award despite the incompetence of his supporting cast.

EDGE Analysis
Trout's 16th blast of the year started the Angels on a comeback from a four-run deficit in a game they'd pull out in the ninth inning. He now has collected multiple hits in each of his last four games, and he's slashing .313/.411/.552.

Trout went 3-for-5 with a homer in a loss to the A's on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Trout has been on a bit of a hot streak lately, tallying seven hits and scoring three runs in his last three games. June is still likely to be his least productive month of the season so far, but he has stolen four bases and notched a .381 OBP over 84 at-bats.

Trout went 2-for-5 with a double, a homer and three RBI in a win over the A's on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Trout has been in a bit of a power drought in June, as the drive marked just his second homer in 56 at-bats this month. While the production has cooled, Trout is still having a fantastic season overall, notching a .302/.409/.540 batting line with 14 homers and nine steals over 68 games.

Trout (wrist) is in the lineup for Monday's series opener against the Twins, Joey Kaufman of the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Trout suffered a thumb injury in Sunday's tilt with the Indians. Fortunately, X-rays came back negative, and he was diagnosed with a right thumb contusion. The Angels will avoid putting him in the field Monday, as Trout is in the lineup at DH. He is also batting third in the order. Expect the Angels to be cautious with their star center fielder if he experiences any form of setback.

EDGE Analysis
Trout left Sunday's game in the top of the eighth shortly after he was hit by a fastball on his hand. He is day-to-day going forward, but could miss a some time if the Angels decide to be cautious with their star outfielder.

Trout went 3-for-5 with his 13th home run of the season Wednesday against the Yankees.
EDGE Analysis
Entering the game, Trout had just three hits in June -- he doubled that Wednesday with his 18th multi-hit performance of the season. There's only so many words that can be used to describe his excellence, and he's practically used them all up in the season's first couple of months. The sixth-year man out of New Jersey should have no problem smashing 30-plus homers, notching 100-plus RBI and scoring 100-plus runs this year.

Trout was 2-for-3 with a pair of walks, a run scored, and an RBI in the Angels dismantling of the Pirates on Friday night.
EDGE Analysis
On base four times (he was lifted late with the game decided) Trout continues his punishment of opposing pitchers and is now hitting .318 with 41 RBI on the season. If the Pirates were looking for a positive takeaway, at least they kept him in the yard.

Trout went 2-for-3 with two walks and a three-run homer in Tuesday's 11-9 victory over the Tigers.
EDGE Analysis
The sixth-year center fielder had a ridiculous second month of the season, going 36-for-106 (.340) while putting up a 1.059 OPS. Trout knocked seven home runs while notching 27 RBI and scoring 26 times in May. What's most exciting for owners is that history would suggest Trout is just getting started. Over the past three seasons, June and July have been his best months, respectively averaging .346 and .330.
