Trout went 2-for-4 with a homer, a triple and four RBI in a loss to the Mariners on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Trout launched a three-run shot in the first inning for the second consecutive game Saturday, but was once again unable to carry the Angels to victory. Trout is pushing hard to once again by in the AL MVP conversation, having logged a .319/.431/.560 batting line with 21 homers and 74 RBI.

Trout went 1-for-4 with a three-run homer against the Mariners on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
The Angels looked poised to jump all over Felix Hernandez after Trout's quick strike in the first inning, but the former Cy Young Award winner closed shop thereafter, allowing just one hit over the next 26 batters. Trout is on his way to another fantastic finish, having tallied a .316/.428/.547 batting line with 20 long balls in 109 games.

Trout (illness) is back in the lineup for Friday's game against the Mariners.
EDGE Analysis
An illness kept the Angels' star center fielder out of the lineup for Thursday's matchup with the A's, but one day off was enough for Trout to feel better and draw back into the order. He'll reclaim his usual spot as the starting center fielder and as the No. 3 hitter in the Angels lineup. He'll be facing Seattle ace Felix Hernandez, against whom Trout has a career .375/.405/.694 slash line with five home runs across 72 at-bats.

Trout (illness) is not in the lineup for Thursday's game against the A's.
EDGE Analysis
Trout will take a day off as he's been batting a head cold for the past couple of days, after he said that he was "struggling with it yesterday." The 24-year-old rarely misses games and will be out of the lineup for the first time since July 5. In his place, the Angels will start Shane Robinson in center.

Trout went 3-for-5 with one RBI and scored twice in Wednesday's game against the A's.
EDGE Analysis
Trout has hit safely in eight of his last 10 games, raising his average five points over that span. On the other hand, all but one of those hits have been singles. Trout is without a homer in his last 14 games, which has dropped the outfielder's slugging percentage down 25 points during that stretch. He might be able to rectify that situation when he faces A's starter Jesse Hahn on Thursday. In seven career plate appearances against Hahn, Trout is 2-for-4 with three walks and a home run.

Trout homered, scored twice and knocked in three runs in a win Monday against the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
Trout busted out of a mini-slump, as he was just 3-for-17 (but with two walks and two doubles) in his past five games. At .319/.424/.567, Trout is playing at an MVP level, but unfortunately his teammates are likely to keep him out of award consideration, much like they did in 2012, 2013 and 2015.

Trout went 1-for-3 with a double, a walk and two runs Sunday against the White Sox.
EDGE Analysis
Trout was one of three Angels to post multiple hits in an 8-1 home victory. He's only collected 11 hits in 41 at-bats this month, and he's slashing .316/.421/.557 on the year.

Trout went 2-for-3 with an RBI, walk and three runs in Friday's 9-5 victory over the Orioles.
EDGE Analysis
The All-Star slugger was on base early and often Friday, and added a sacrifice fly for his RBI on the night. The effort was Trout's third multi-hit outing over eight July games, and he's already slashing .333/.500/.542 over 24 at-bats in the new month.

Trout went 1-for-4 with a homer, a steal, a walk, two runs and two RBI Wednesday at the Rays.
EDGE Analysis
Trout's 18th homer of the year came in the fifth inning to give the Angels a 7-0 lead in a game they'd win easily. This was the first time he's left the yard in his last eight games, and he's now slashing .323/.425/.574 on the season.

Trout is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against Tampa Bay.
EDGE Analysis
Trout's consecutive starts streak comes to an end at 145 on Tuesday as he'll draw a much-needed day off against the Rays. Shane Robinson will take Trout's spot in center field and bat ninth in the order against Jake Odorizzi. Trout figures to return to the lineup Wednesday following his day off.
