Trout is in the lineup for Friday's game against the Mariners, Angels VP of Comm. Tim Mead reports.
EDGE Analysis
Trout was involved in a car accident Wednesday night, but he was not injured in the collision, and it appears he does not have any lingering effects from the crash. Trout will man center field Friday like he usually does, and will hit third in the Angels' batting order.

Trout was involved in a two-vehicle car crash Wednesday night in Santa Ana, Calif. but came away uninjured, Scott Schwebke of the Orange County Register reports. "I have spoken with Mike [on Wednesday evening] and he feels fine," Angels GM Billy Eppler said. "He is at home with his roommate and is planning on traveling with the club to Seattle [Thursday afternoon]. We will update as more information becomes available."
EDGE Analysis
The accident occurred at 8:50 p.m. local time, a few hours after the completion of the Angels' 3-0 win over the Reds. Though Trout's vehicle sustained damage, he was able to escape unharmed, though two people involved in the accident did sustain injuries. Incidentally, Trout received Wednesday's game off for rest, but since he's been cleared to travel with the Angels, it doesn't look as though he'll miss any further time.

Trout is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
Trout has continued to dominate at the plate, as he hit .349/.486/.651 for the month of August. However, he'll have a rare night off as Rafael Ortega heads to center field. The Angels don't play Thursday, so Trout should return to his normal spot Friday when they head to Seattle to face the Mariners.

Trout went 3-for-4 with a double, a two-run homer, a walk, and two runs scored Monday against the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
Trout showed why he's arguably the best player in baseball by demonstrating his elite combination of patience and power. He has now hit at least 25 homers in each of the last five seasons, and a third straight 30-homer campaign is well in reach with 31 games to play. Trout's .316/.434/.556 line is right in line with expectations.

Trout went 3-for-4 with four RBI and scored a run in Thursday's win over Toronto.
EDGE Analysis
Trout extended his hitting streak to four game with his second straight three-hit performance. After seeing his average dip slightly during the middle of the month, the All-Star outfield has gotten back on track over the past week. Trout has gone 10-for-22 over the last six games to boost his average back up .316, its highest mark since Aug. 7.

Trout went 3-for-5 with a walk, double, a solo home run, and a pair of runs scored in the Angels' 8-2 win over the Blue Jays.
EDGE Analysis
The home run was Trout's 24th of the season, coming in the top of the first to set the tone for the Angels, who scored five runs over the first two innings. While Trout's success has come often this season, hitting .312 and stealing 21 bases in addition to the 20+ home runs, the Angels have struggled as a team, going 53-73. Despite their struggles, Trout has still managed to score 92 runs, fourth most in the MLB this season. Even on a bad team, Trout remains arguably the most consistent fantasy performer in the MLB.

Trout hit a solo home run and walked twice in a 1-for-2 game Monday against the Mariners.
EDGE Analysis
Trout is up to 23 home runs, but still remains well off the pace he set last year when he mashed 41 in 159 games. However, Trout's plate discipline this year has been better than ever. He now has 80 walks against 99 strikeouts, and his 16.0 percent walk rate is a career high, powering his amazing .426 OBP.

Trout is in Monday's lineup against the Mariners, Bob Dutton of the Tacoma News Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
As expected, Trout is starting in center field and batting third after having the day off Sunday. He'll face off against Felix Hernandez as Los Angeles begins their series against a Seattle team that's won eight of their last 10 games.

Trout is out of the lineup Sunday against the Indians.
EDGE Analysis
With Saturday's game ending around 12:30 a.m. local time, Angels manager Mike Scioscia will just be giving Trout a rest due to the quick turnaround Sunday afternoon. Since returning from an illness last week that kept him out of the lineup for one game, Trout has gone just 6-for-27 (.222 average) at the dish, but three of those hits have been homers. Nick Buss will cover center field Sunday while Trout rests.

Trout went 1-for-2 with a solo shot and a walk in Thursday's loss to the Indians.
EDGE Analysis
Trout was able to knock one out against Corey Kluber in the first inning, but that mattered little in a game in which the Indians put up 14 runs. The former AL MVP is having yet another phenomenal season, despite hitting under .300 in August.
