Trout went 2-for-3 with a double, a two-run home run and a walk in Saturday's win over the Mariners.
EDGE Analysis
Trout entered the game with an excellent track record versus Felix Hernandez, and he kept up that trend by putting his team ahead for good with a sixth-inning blast to center. Trout is clearly heating up at the plate, with a .615 average, four extra-base hits and four RBI over his last four games, and he appears to be taking the next step after a relatively slow start.

Trout went 2-for-2 with a homer and two walks Thursday in a 3-2 win over the White Sox.
EDGE Analysis
With this following a 3-for-4 performance Wednesday, Trout's now been on base in seven of his last eight plate appearances. That's great for his fantasy owners to see, and they can also hang their hats on the fact that Trout's career OPS in April (.868 entering Thursday's action) is his lowest mark of any month. No need to worry about his slow start to the season.

Trout went 3-for-5 with a double and scored three runs in Wednesday's win over the Athletics.
EDGE Analysis
After a slow start to the season, the 24-year-old rebounded with a nice series against the A's. In the three-game sweep of their division rivals, Trout went 4-for-12 with a double, home run, walk, two RBI, four runs and a stolen base. He'll look to keep things rolling in a weekend series against the Twins at Target Field, a place the outfielder smashed three home runs and logged an .867 slugging percentage in 15 at-bats last season.

Trout went 1-for-3 with a two-run homer and a walk Monday in Oakland.
EDGE Analysis
Trout's home run was his first of the season, as the 2014 AL MVP had been off to a slow start. He's starting to turn that around, with all four of his RBI coming in the last two games after the 24-year-old failed to accrue any in his first five appearances.

Trout went 2-for-4 and drew a walk in Thursday's win over the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
After failing to get on base in his first two games, Trout picked up his first hits of the season. As the centerpiece of the franchise, fans of the Angels are breathing a sigh of relief upon seeing the 2014 MVP displaying the skillset that they hope will put the Angels in the playoff conversation later this season. However, Trout isn't the only player that will need to improve his numbers, as the Angels' offense has been relatively stagnant through the start of the season.

Trout (illness) is back in the lineup for Saturday's Freeway Series finale against the Dodgers, batting third, Jeff Fletcher of the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
After being held out of the lineup for two straight days due to a stomach virus, Trout will draw back into the lineup for a tuneup game against the Dodgers. He'll take back his usual spot in the order and he'll play center field as well. The 2014 AL MVP had another tremendous spring, slashing .388/.466/.735 with four home runs, 15 RBI, and only five strikeouts against eight walks.

Trout (illness) is not in the lineup for Friday's game against the Dodgers, Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
For the second day in a row, Trout will not be in center field for the Angels as he battles a stomach virus. Rafael Ortega will take over in center field with Trout sidelined Friday, and it's unclear if the MVP-caliber outfielder will be able to get back into game action before the Angels open their season Monday against the Cubs. Still, there's no indication that Trout's stomach virus will put his status for Opening Day in jeopardy.

Trout (illness) will not play in Thursday's game against the Dodgers, Joey Kaufman of the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
The superstar center fielder is reportedly dealing with flu-like symptoms and will miss at least Thursday's matchup with the Dodgers. Fortunately, there is no indication at this point that Trout's bout with the flu will put his status for Opening Day in jeopardy. Craig Gentry will take over in center field Thursday and Trout figures to rejoin the lineup in the coming days.

Trout would 'definitely' like to try to steal more bases this season, Alden Gonzalez of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
If there has been one area of disappointment in Trout's otherwise fantastic fantasy profile, it has been the stolen base totals, which fell to a career-low 11 last year. Not that one needs any added motivation to draft Trout, but the fact that he will be consciously trying to get back to the form that saw him take 49 bags in 2012 could edge him in front of Bryce Harper as the first selection overall.

Trout will bat third for the Angels, Jeff Fletcher of the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Trout batted second 82 times and third 77 times in 2015, but Manager Mike Scioscia said that he doesn't see lineups with him hitting second, especially if Albert Pujols misses time with injuries. Yunel Escobar and Kole Calhoun could form a solid combination at the top for Anaheim, allowing Trout to see plenty of RBI opportunities throughout the season.
