Trout (hamstring) is back in the lineup for Friday's game against the Astros.
EDGE Analysis
A bout of hamstring tightness resulted in Trout's first absence of the season Thursday, but it seems the decision to hold him out was largely precautionary. Trout will return to center field and three-hole against lefty Dallas Keuchel as he looks to extend his career-long hitting streak to 17 games.

Trout, who is not in the lineup for Thursday's game against the Mariners, is dealing with hamstring tightness, Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Trout was absent from the lineup Thursday for the first time all season, and the report of apparent hamstring tightness explains why. It's currently unclear how detrimental the hamstring tightness is and if he'll be forced to miss additional time. The star center fielder will be considered day-to-day for the time being. We should get a better idea of his injury status when the Angels release their lineup prior to Friday's contest against the Astros.

Trout is not in the lineup for Thursday's series finale against the Mariners.
EDGE Analysis
Trout will get a much deserved day off as he heads to the bench for the first time all season. Cameron Maybin has shifted over to center field while Ben Revere is in left field. Trout is doing his thing once again, slashing .358/.452/.717 with eight homers, 21 runs, 20 RBI and five stolen bases through 29 games this season.

Trout went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Wednesday's 8-6 loss to the Mariners.
EDGE Analysis
Fresh off of being named American League Player of the Month, the two-time MVP went deep for the eighth time this season, bringing his on-base plus slugging percentage up to 1.169 in 29 games. Not only has Trout been hitting the ball with authority, but he has been making consistent contact as well, stretching his current hit streak to 16 games Wednesday.

Trout reached base four times Friday, going 3-for-4 with a walk, a home run, two RBI and two runs scored in a 6-3 win over the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
The two-time American League MVP has taken his game to the next level this season, providing a combination of power and speed that not many can rival. His .710 slugging percentage ranks sixth among all major-league hitters, but Trout is the only one of the bunch that has at least five steals. In fact, no one with a slugging percentage over .548 has five or more stolen bases this season.

Trout went 1-for-4 with a triple and a run scored during Monday's win over Toronto.
EDGE Analysis
With 12 runs, five home runs, 14 RBI, four stolen bases and a .346/.416/.679 slash line, Trout is kick-starting another dominant fantasy campaign. He's reached base in 20 of 21 games this season and has registered nine multi-hit showings. At 25, Trout's just entering his prime, too.

Trout went 2-for-3 with a walk and his third stolen base of the season in Monday's 3-0 loss to the Astros.
EDGE Analysis
The 25-year-old hadn't attempted a steal prior to Apr. 13, likely due to the fact that the majority of his hits up until that point had been of the extra-base variety. Now that his power has calmed down over the past five games (all six hits being singles), the five-tool outfielder has picked up his activity on the basepaths. With three home runs and three steals through 14 games, Trout is on pace for a 30-homer and 30-steal season, a mark he missed by one home run last year.

Trout went 2-for-2 with a walk and his first stolen base of the season in Thursday's 8-3 loss to the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
With a .333/.405/.750 slash line through 10 games, Trout has delivered on his potential as the best offensive player in fantasy baseball. The only aspect of the five-tool star's repertoire that has been missing is speed, and the other shoe finally dropped in that department Thursday. We all know what kind of hitter the two-time American League MVP is by now, but his stolen base totals have fluctuated between 11 and 49 during his five seasons as a full-time starter. Prior to Thursday's game, eight of the slugger's 10 hits went for extra bases, which could be the reason why he hasn't attempted any steals. If opposing teams begin pitching around Trout, we could see a spike in his stolen base attempts.

Trout went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Wednesday's loss to the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
Fantasy baseball's consensus top pick has been as advertised early on, slashing .294/.359/.735 through nine games. Trout's on-base percentage is the lowest it has been since he has become an everyday player in 2012, but the slugger has offset that with a career-high .735 slugging percentage, hinting at a more aggressive approach at the plate this season. It is still early, so those percentages may return to the mean as he gets more games under his belt, but fantasy owners won't complain if Trout takes less walks and lets it rip more often.

Trout went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Saturday's 5-4 win over Seattle.
EDGE Analysis
The two-time American League MVP has gotten off to a strong start this season, slashing .318/.360/.773 in 25 plate appearances. The batting average is where one would expect it to be, but the .773 slugging percentage shows us that Trout is hitting the ball with authority early on. The five-tool player hasn't attempted a steal yet this season, but he should start racking those up soon enough.
