Mike Minor allowed five runs -- four earned -- in six innings as the Braves came back to beat the Giants on Saturday.
It wasn't all bad for the left-hander, as he struck out seven Giants in his six innings of work. Despite getting hit, the Braves came back to win in the bottom of the ninth, saving Minor from his third loss. He'll next toe the slab against the Mets on Thursday.

Mike Minor allowed four runs -- two earned -- over six innings Tuesday as he took a no-decision against the Pirates.
Minor allowed just four hits on the night, but they were two doubles and two homers accounting for all four runs driven in. Minor was otherwise stingy, striking out six while not walking a batter. The lefty remains 7-2 and will start next against the Dodgers on Sunday.

Mike Minor tossed 7 1/3 scoreless innings Saturday as the Braves cruised to a 6-0 win over the Mets.
Minor was outstanding once again, striking out 10 batters and allowing only three hits. He also helped his own cause at the plate with a single and a two-run shot. The 25-year-old left-hander has only been shaky in one of his 10 outings this year and is beginning to fan batters at an exceptional rate. He will carry a 2.47 ERA and 0.93 WHIP into his next start against the Blue Jays.

Mike Minor struggled in his start Sunday against the Tigers, allowing six runs and two walks over 6 2/3 innings.
Minor allowed six hits, including a pair of home runs to Austin Jackson and Omar Infante. It's his first non-quality start this season, though he clearly didn't have his best stuff in his last outing either. Minor has a 3.13 ERA and 0.98 WHIP. His next start will come Friday vs. the Mets.

Mike Minor yielded three runs in six innings to pick up the win as the Braves topped the Rockies 4-3 in the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader.
Minor was both unlucky and lucky in the third. Dexter Fowler's leadoff triple would have been a single in any park other than Coors with its huge gaps, and it was followed by a little tapper to second from Josh Rutledge that went for an RBI single. He caught a break right after that, though, as Carlos Gonzalez's bid for a double down the right-field line landed just foul. The three runs Minor allowed today were his most since Aug. 31, a span of nine starts. He's now 3-1 with a 1.80 ERA.
