Mike Minor held the Marlins scoreless over 5 2/3 innings in the Braves' win on Wednesday. It was the second win on the season for the 25-year-old, and he's allowed only one run in his 13 innings of work thus far. Minor didn't go deep on Wednesday, failing to register a quality start despite blanking Marlins hitters. He now has a 0.69 ERA and 0.85 WHIP through two starts. His next start won't come for another week, next Wednesday against the Royals.

Mike Minor looked sharp in his season debut Friday, racking up seven strikeouts in a victory over the Cubs. Minor allowed just one run on five hits over his 7 1/3 innings. He also displayed pinpoint command throughout the evening and didn't issue a walk. The supremely talented 25-year-old is off to a great start in his attempt to improve upon an impressive rookie campaign. He'll look to keep rolling when he takes on the Marlins in Miami on Wednesday.

Mike Minor would start on Thursday if the Braves played the Nationals in a tiebreaker game for the National League East title. For that to happen, the Braves would have to win three straight while the Nationals would have to lose three in a row. The Braves already have Kris Medlen lined up for the one-game Wild Card game on Friday.

Mike Minor hurled 6 1/3 innings of scorless ball in Saturday night's 2-0 defeat of the Mets. Minor yielded just three hits -- two of which were singles -- while fanning four and walking none. He'll finish the year 11-10 with a solid 4.12 ERA and 1.15 WHIP, and should be selected confidently near the middle rounds of fantasy drafts next season.

Mike Minor pitched well in Saturday's win over the Braves, allowing two runs on just two hits in his six innings of work. Minor piled up six strikeouts on the afternoon while walking only one. Darin Ruf got the Phillies on the board with a sacrifice fly in the third inning, and Ryan Howard added a solo homer in the fourth, but that was the extent of the damage. He's been pitching like an ace in the month of September, going 3-0 with a 1.09 ERA, 0.77 WHIP and 24/9 K/BB ratio in 24 2/3 innings spanning four starts. He'll look to extend that recent dominance when he does battle against the Mets at home on Friday.

Mike Minor pitched six innings of one-run ball to beat the Nationals on Sunday night. The Braves essentially clinched the top wild card spot with their three-game sweep. They're still 5 1/2 games back of the Nationals in the East, so that's probably out of reach. However, it was a very good weekend.

Mike Minor struck out eight Brewers hitters while tossing 5 2/3 scoreless innings in a no-decision Monday. Minor gave up just two hits and two walks, but he was unable to get through six frames after throwing a whopping 115 pitches. Despite the inefficiency, it's another good showing from Minor, who boasts a 2.35 ERA and 0.91 WHIP in 11 second half starts. He'll try to keep it going this weekend against the Nationals.

The quality start was his fifth in six outings, and eighth since the All-Star break. His abysmal start to the year is a long ago memory.
