Matt Moore took a no-decision despite allowing only one run in six innings Saturday against the Yankees. The Rays lost in extra innings after closer Fernando Rodney blew yet another save in the ninth. Moore did his part, limiting the Yankees to five hits and two walks. The 23-year-old left-hander is 8-0 with a 2.21 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 56/28 K/BB ratio in 61 innings this season. He should keep rolling next week against the Marlins.

Matt Moore ran his record to 8-0 after tossing seven innings of one-run ball in Sunday's 3-1 victory over the Orioles. Moore notched just three strikeouts on the day, but he allowed only five hits and walked one. The left-hander has still had some control problems this season, but he's limited the damage by giving up just 34 hits over 55 innings. A few more balls are sure to start falling in at some point, but the young southpaw should remain a fantasy ace. He'll face the Yankees next weekend.

Matt Moore allowed three runs over six innings in the Rays' 5-3 win over the Red Sox on Tuesday. The final line is a little misleading for the southpaw, as the Sox did all their damage with the first four batters of the game. Moore then held Red Sox batters to just one hit and two walks over the next five innings, striking out eight in the process. He now owns a 2.44 ERA through eight starts. His next will come Sunday as the Rays visit the Orioles.

Matt Moore allowed two runs over five innings, earning the win as the Rays beat the Blue Jays on Wednesday. Moore wasn't stellar on Wednesday, but he didn't need to be. The lefty scattered six hits and four walks in his five innings, striking out just two. The effort was good enough to get him his sixth win, and Moore owns a 2.14 ERA on the season. He should be sharper Tuesday against the Red Sox.

Matt Moore labored through Friday's start against the Rockies, giving up a season-high four runs over five innings in a no-decision. Moore allowed seven hits (including two homers) to go along with four walks and three strikeouts. He threw just 53 out of 101 pitches for strikes before exiting. The young left-hander had allowed just four runs in 32 innings over his first five starts combined, but Coors Field can make even the best pitchers look mortal. We like his chances of getting back on track next week against the Blue Jays at home.

Matt Moore gave up just one run and two hits in eight innings versus the Yankees to move to 4-0 on Monday. While there was no doubting Moore's upside, it's still a surprise to see him pitching this well right out of the gate this year. He struck out nine more batters tonight, giving him 29 K's in 26 innings for the season. He's allowed just three runs and 10 hits.

Matt Moore allowed two runs over 6 2/3 innings, and the Rays beat the Orioles on Wednesday. Moore's only blemish was a two-run homer, his first earned runs allowed on the year, by Adam Jones in the third inning. With seven strikeouts in the game, Moore has now fanned 20 batters in 18 innings of work this season. He'll try to keep the hot start going against the Yankees on Monday.

Matt Moore turned in an outstanding performance in his season debut against the Indians on Friday, allowing just two hits over six scoreless innings. Moore punched out eight on the evening while walking just two. The 23-year-old left-hander has always possessed immense talent, and if he can continue to improve his command and efficiency he'll quickly become a truly elite fantasy starter.

Matt Moore was sharp Saturday, allowing one hit in four innings and striking out five against the Tigers. Moore might not be especially consistent, but he still figures to be one of the AL's better fantasy pitchers this year. After struggling initially, he allowed just two earned runs over 13 2/3 innings in his final three spring starts.
