Matt Moore allowed just two hits over seven innings in the Rays' 12-0 shutout of the Astros on Monday.
Moore struck out nine and walked three before making way for Cesar Ramos, who finished up with two perfect innings. After a pretty horrible three-start run last month, Moore has come back and allowed four runs over 20 1/3 innings in his last three starts, all of which have resulted in wins. He's 11-3 with a 3.65 ERA overall.

Matt Moore allowed one run in six innings to get his 10th win, and the Rays beat the Blue Jays 5-1 on Tuesday.
After a long period between wins, Moore has now won two straight and is 10-3 on the year. The lefty was up and down on Tuesday, as he allowed just four hits but served up six walks while striking out 11. Walks have been an issue for Moore, as he's now walked 48 in 86 2/3 innings this year. On the plus side, he's also struck out 83 in those same 86 2/3 innings. His next start is user-friendly, as he takes on the Astros in Houston on Monday.

Matt Moore beat the Yankees by allowing three runs in 6 1/3 innings on Thursday.
Moore didn't bounce all of the way back tonight, but he did enough to win for the first time since he improved to 8-0 on May 19. After three straight ugly losses, it was a nice enough change. He allowed four hits, walked three and struck out four. All three runs came in the sixth inning.

Matt Moore's recent struggles continued in Friday's loss to the Royals, where he allowed five runs on seven hits over his 5 1/3 innings.
Moore struck out four on the night, but also issued four free passes and needed 100 pitches to get through 5 1/3 innings. He was cruising along until the fifth, where the Royals struck for four runs to break the game open. Moore has allowed a total of seven walks, 19 hits and 15 runs (14 earned) over his last two outings, somewhat ruining his fantastic start to the 2013 regular season. But he feels fine and will try to bounce back next time out against the Royals. "It's nothing physical," said the left-hander. "There's no pain. I don't feel weak.

Matt Moore took his first loss of the season on Tuesday, giving up six runs over two innings against the Tigers.
Moore got out of the first inning unscathed but completely fell apart after that, walking six batters and allowing seven hits overall on the evening. The damage actually could have been worse, as Alex Torres relieved Moore with the bases loaded and no outs and put out the fire. He'll go for his ninth win once again on Sunday against the Orioles.
