Stroman (4-0) finished the season undefeated Wednesday, striking out eight Orioles while allowing one run on five hits and two walks over eight innings in a 15-2 win.
EDGE Analysis
At this rate, had Stroman not torn his ACL and instead made the typical 30 or so starts, he'd have finished with a 1.67 ERA and become the baseball's first 30-game winner since the 1930s. Of course, that's an exaggeration, but he actually got better and better in each of his four outings after returning from the DL stint that took up nearly his entire 2015 campaign. His next start will come in the playoffs.

Stroman will not make his scheduled start Tuesday against Baltimore, as the game has been postponed due to rain, Brendan Kennedy of the Toronto Star reports.
EDGE Analysis
The game has been rescheduled as part of a Wednesday doubleheader, with Stroman tabbed to start Game 1. With seven scoreless innings against the Yankees his last time out, Stroman lowered his ERA to 1.89 through three starts.

Stroman (3-0) shut the Yankees out over seven innings Wednesday, striking out five while allowing just five hits and a walk in a 4-0 win.
EDGE Analysis
Stroman's looked progressively better in the three starts he's made since returning from a torn ACL, and he's won each of them as the Blue Jays attempt to hold onto first place in the AL East down the stretch. At this rate, he should be considered a strong play against the Orioles on Tuesday.

Stroman turned in a strong performance, allowing just one run on six hits, walking one and striking out three over seven innings of 6-1 win against the Red Sox on Friday night.
EDGE Analysis
Stroman (2-0, 3.00 ERA) was making just his second start after coming back from knee surgery, and he looked sharp. He needed just 96 pitches (69 for strikes) to cover the seven innings, and he retired 11 batters on groundballs (no flyball outs), so he making it tough on the Boston hitters. The Blue Jays aren't going to overwork him, but he is likely to remain in the rotation through the end of the season as long as he doesn't encounter any physical problems.

Stroman's next start will come Friday against the Red Sox, Sportsnet's Barry Davis reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Blue Jays waited a few days to commit to a second start for Stroman, but the team announced Tuesday that he will remain in the rotation, and Drew Hutchison will move to the bullpen. Stroman should enjoy seeing the Red Sox on the schedule -- he went 3-0 with a 1.25 ERA in three starts against Boston last season.

Stroman got the win in his return to the mound Saturday, allowing three runs on four hits and two walks over five innings while striking out two.
EDGE Analysis
It wasn't the most efficient outing, but Jays fans are just happy to see him back so quickly after his torn ACL. Stroman isn't yet scheduled for a second start, but he could be used to give Mark Buehrle a breather next weekend when the Jays host the Red Sox.

Stroman (knee) was activated from the 60-day DL on Friday, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stroman will be the starter Saturday for Toronto against the Yankees, thus ending an incredibly quick recovery from a torn ACL. His performance in rehab was up and down, but what's most important is that his strikeout stuff appears to be back, recording 12 strikeouts in 7.2 innings across two levels. He's a risky pick-up in his starts immediately following his return, especially if the Blue Jays limit his innings, but there is real upside here.

Stroman (knee) will start Saturday against the Yankees, Jon Morosi of FOX Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
A torn left ACL, suffered early in spring training, was initially expected to keep Stroman out for the entire 2015 season. However, he progressed quicker than expected, and has now been tabbed to start Saturday at Yankee Stadium with Mark Buehrle "banged up," according to manager John Farrell. Stroman struck out seven without allowing a hit in his first rehab start for Low-A Lansing last week, but struggled in his outing with Triple-A Buffalo on Monday, allowing four runs on eight hits and four walks while striking out five over three innings.

Stroman tossed 4.2 no-hit innings in a rehab start for Low-A Lansing on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
He struck out seven and walked one, and while that is a pretty encouraging outing, it should not come as a surprise that a guy with Stroman's stuff and polish could dominate Low-A hitters. He will start Triple-A Buffalo's season finale at Pawtucket on Monday, which will serve as a nice final tune up before rejoining the Blue Jays. It's quite possible that he could offer a few quality starts for fantasy owners over the season's final weeks.

Stroman (knee) will throw a simulated game Friday before beginning a minor league rehab assignment at Single-A Lansing on Sept. 2, Shi Davidi of Sportsnetreports.
EDGE Analysis
Although the plan is tentative at this point, it's remarkable that Stroman has made it this far after suffering a torn ACL in early March. If he makes it through his first rehab outing at Lansing, the Blue Jays would then move him up to Triple-A Buffalo for his next appearance. Stroman could be in line to join the Blue Jays' rotation by mid-September if he continues to progress at this rate.
