Stroman (2-0) limited the Yankees to two runs on three hits and two walks in Thursday's win. He struck out three and walked two.
EDGE Analysis
The strikeout totals have been a bit disappointing early on for Stroman, who now has only 12 in 21.1 innings -- not to mention six walks, which doesn't make for a good ratio. Nonetheless, the Long Island native dominated his hometown team and demonstrated for the second time in three starts his ability to pitch deep into ballgames and preserve the bullpen. He'll draw the Orioles on Tuesday, which could create an opportunity for more strikeouts.

Working to take his game to another level, Stroman has been working on breathing techniques with a doctor to help keep his emotions in check while pitching, Toronto Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stroman has been known to wear emotions on his sleeve while on the mound, something that many would argue is not the best way to go about pitching. It's encouraging that youngster has taken it upon himself to address his erratic energy levels, and it shows great maturity. Toronto's ace also noted that he's been working on his quick pitch to keep runners from getting good jumps off him.

Stroman went eight innings in Sunday's season-opener versus the Rays, allowing three runs with five strikeouts and a walk across eight strong innings.
EDGE Analysis
The 24-year-old was trusted to deliver in his first career Opening Day outing, and he was able to out-duel Chris Archer for his first win of 2016. Stroman was tabbed as a candidate for a breakout campaign after flashing brilliance following his return from injury last season, and Sunday's performance was a nice way to get the ball rolling. He is next scheduled to face Boston at home this Friday.

Stroman tossed four scoreless innings against Philadelphia Monday, allowing three hits while striking out three.
EDGE Analysis
After coming off a 2015 season in which he pitched in only four games due to an ACL tear, Stroman looks to return to his 2014 form in which he made 20 starts, recorded an 11-6 record and compiled a 3.65 ERA along with a 1.17 WHIP. He's only 24 years old and is on one of the most high-powered offensive teams in MLB, so assuming he remains healthy, he could provide great fantasy value at a low price.

Stroman will start Opening Day against the Rays, Sportsnet.ca reports.
EDGE Analysis
Manager John Gibbons made the announcement Wednesday, tabbing the 24-year-old to start Apr. 3 opposite Chris Archer. Stroman could end up starting the team's home opener as well, depending on the status of Marco Estrada (back). He will be the Blue Jays' fifth Opening Day starter in seven years.

Stroman could start two of the Blue Jays' first five games of the season as a fallback plan in case Marco Estrada (back) is not ready to take the ball the first time through the rotation, Sportsnet's Ben Nicholson-Smith reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stroman will be the Opening Day starter in Tampa Bay, but he could also pitch the home opener later that week if Estrada is not ready. This does not really affect his value for the first week of the season, as he would still pitch twice in that first week even if Estrada is healthy.

Stroman will start Game 3 of the ALCS against the Royals on Monday, John Lott of the National Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Written off after suffering a torn ACL in spring training, Stroman ended up playing a key part in the team's victory over Texas in the ALDS. He allowed a total of five runs over 13 innings in his two starts against the Rangers, with just two allowed over six in Wednesday's Game 5. With the Game 3 assignment, Stroman is lined up to start Game 7 of the Championship Series, or perhaps Game 6 on short rest if necessary.

Stroman was named the starter for Game 5 of the ALDS on Wednesday against the Rangers, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stroman got the nod in Game 2 and offered a modest outing, allowing four runs (three earned) on five hits and two walks while striking out five in seven innings. With the series knotted up, the Blue Jays will require a better performance in the do-or-setting, though his two home starts in the regular season (one run allowed in 14 innings) indicate that he's up to the task.

Stroman was charged with four runs (three earned) on five hits and two walks over seven innings against the Rangers on Friday in Game 2 of the ALDS. He struck out five, and did not factor in the decision in the Blue Jays' 6-4 loss.
EDGE Analysis
While Stroman was able to go toe-to-toe with Rangers ace Cole Hamels for most of the contest, he put the game-tying run on in the eighth, and Texas ultimately went ahead against LaTroy Hawkins in the 14th. Toronto now finds itself in a surprising 0-2 hole as the series heads to Arlington, but Stroman figures to start Game 5 if the Blue Jays can win the next two games.

Stroman will start Game 2 of the ALDS, the 24-year-old pitcher reported on his official Twitter page.
EDGE Analysis
He's been terrific since returning from returning from a torn ACL on Sept. 12, posting a 1.67 ERA and 0.96 WHIP in 27 innings this season. David Price will take the mound in Game 1.
