Gregerson (oblique) will throw a bullpen session Wednesday, Evan Drellich of the Houston Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
A sore oblique has kept Gregerson behind most of Houston's other pitchers this spring, but he's nearing a return to game action. Assuming Wednesday's session goes off without a hitch, he'll throw a simulated game Saturday, followed by a potential spring game appearance early next week.

Gregerson (oblique) is nearing a return to game action and could make his debut later this week, Evan Drellich of the Houston Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gregerson has been steadily progressing since he entered camp with left oblique soreness and could finally see game action by the end of the week. Whether or not the veteran reliever does live batting practice shouldn't impact his return.

Gregerson (oblique) will throw off of a mound Wednesday, Evan Drellich of the Houston Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gregerson has lagged behind most of the Astros' other pitchers this spring as he battles soreness in his left oblique. He took part in fielding activities Monday and said he felt "normal" afterward, so if Wednesday's throwing session goes well, he could be close to returning to practicing without limitation.

Gregerson (oblique) felt good Monday after participating in fielding practice and other activities with the rest of the Astros' healthy pitchers, Jose de Jesus Ortiz of the Houston Chroncile reports.
EDGE Analysis
"It felt normal," the veteran right-hander said. "It's nothing different than I would expect, nothing holding me back, running full speed, throwing hard." Gregerson is expected to throw off the mound soon, but a date has yet to be determined for that activity.

Gregerson (oblique) will begin doing fielding activities Monday, Evan Drellich of the Houston Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gregerson is gradually increasing his activity as he aims to put the oblique issue behind him. It may take another week or two before he begins throwing again, but Gregerson still appears on course to be available for the start of the regular season.

Gregerson (oblique) has been playing catch, MLB.com's Brian McTaggart reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gregerson won't be up to pace with Houston's other relievers, but his ability to play catch from increasing distance suggests that he's still on track for Opening Day. Though mostly effective in the closer's role last season, Gregerson is expected to cede the ninth inning to offseason acquisition Ken GIles.

Gregorson is dealing with left oblique soreness and will be "a little delayed" this spring, MLB.com's Brian McTaggart reports.
EDGE Analysis
It's only mid-February, so there is little cause for concern just yet with Gregerson. The 31-year-old reliever is projected to work in the eighth inning in Houston, setting the table for Ken Giles.

Gregerson needed only 13 pitches (nine for strikes) to complete a scoreless ninth inning Thursday against the Royals to earn his second save of the 2015 postseason. He struck out two.
EDGE Analysis
Two nights after preserving a 3-0 win over the Yankees in the AL Wild Card game, Gregerson was back at it with a scoreless inning against the Royals. He struck out Kendrys Morales to open the the frame, but proceeded to hit Mike Moustakas with a pitch. Fortunately, Gregerson rebounded to retire Salvador Perez (strikeout) and Alex Gordon (foul out) to escape the inning with no further damage. Through two playoff appearances this season, the 31-year-old right-hander has allowed just one baserunner while striking out four over two scoreless innings.
