Gausman (shoulder) will pitch for High-A Frederick Saturday before joining the Orioles in Houston and throwing a simulated game Tuesday, followed by a rehab assignment with Double-A Bowie on June 11, Dan Connolly of the Baltimore Sun reports.
Gausman will be stretched out as a starter with Double-A Bowie, and it appears he could be joining the Orioles' rotation upon activation from the disabled list. In 20 starts with the Orioles last season, the southpaw posted a 3.57 ERA and 1.32 WHIP with 88 strikeouts over 113.1 innings.

Gausman (shoulder) is expected to be optioned to Triple-A Norfolk to make starts Jun. 6 and Jun. 11, MASN's Roch Kubatko reports.
This will not be a rehab assignment, and while some owners may have expected him to come off the DL and rejoin the Orioles, this is actually a positive development for his 2015 fantasy value. The team apparently expects Gausman to be healthy enough to come off the DL in the coming days, and he will be stretched out as a starter at Triple-A. This means he could slot into the Orioles' rotation at some point in late-June if a need arises. He will work three innings (or 45 pitches) in the Jun. 6 start and will ramp up to four innings in the Jun. 11 start, assuming everything goes according to plan.

Gausman (shoulder) will have a bullpen session Tuesday, will face live hitters Friday followed by a light workout Sunday before throwing two innings in a simulated game Tuesday, Dan Connolly of the Baltimore Sun reports.
Gausman's recovery plan is pretty mapped out over the next couple weeks, as he continues to work his way back. If no setbacks occur, Gausman will likely pitch in a rehab game or two following the simulated game, and could return to the Orioles' bullpen shortly after that.

Gausman (shoulder) threw 28 pitches in Baltimore's bullpen Saturday and said his shoulder felt great, MASN's Roch Kubatko reports.
He will throw another such session Tuesday and will then be reevaluated. Gausman said he liked how the ball was coming out of his hand in Saturday's session, so it sounds like he is progressing nicely.

Gausman (shoulder) made 25 throws from 90 to 120 feet Thursday and has bullpen sessions lined up in the coming days, the Baltimore Sun's Eduardo Encina reports.
He will throw a bullpen session Saturday in Miami and then again on Monday, at which point the next step in his rehab will be determined. If Gausman is able to make it back fully healthy then the time out with the injury may not have done much damage to his overall fantasy value in 2015. He was going to be on an innings limit and had not yet found his way into the O's rotation when the injury occurred. Gausman will likely still be on the outside of the rotation when he returns, but if he were to get a spot sometime this summer he could pitch with no restrictions the rest of the way considering the lack of work on his arm so far this season.

Gausman (shoulder) will pitch batting practice for Baltimore before its game at Miami on Saturday, the Associated Press reports.
He was also expected to throw a simulated game sometime later this month, so once that happens we could have a clearer picture of what the next step will be. Gausman will no doubt be on an innings limit when he does come back so the Orioles may opt to bring him back without a using some of those innings on a rehab assignment.

Gausman (shoulder) could pitch a simulated game in about 10 days, Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports reports.
Gausman will first attempt to test out his ailing shoulder through flat-ground and bullpen sessions this week, and if all goes well, the Orioles could send him to extended spring training to face hitters. The 24-year-old isn't likely to rejoin the Orioles until early or mid-June at the soonest.

An MRI on Gausman's shoulder came back clean, and he plans to stay in Baltimore for now, Brittany Ghiroli of MLB.com reports.
Gausman will continue to rest his shoulder, as he has only been on the disabled list for a few days. With the MRI coming back clean, he appears to just be dealing with tendinitis.

Gausman (shoulder) will visit a specialist Monday and undergo an MRI on Tuesday to determine what is causing his shoulder issues, Brittany Ghiroli of MLB.com reports.
The fact that Gausman will require a visit to a specialist is never a good sign, as it could result in a procedure. It's unclear exactly what he's suffering from at this point other than a shoulder issue, but the visit and MRI should provide more information on his situation.

Gausman has been placed on the DL with right shoulder tendinitis, MASN's Roch Kubatko reports.
While the significance of the move cannot be denied, the Orioles are labeling the DL stint as a precaution. Kubatko said Gausman could be ready to pitch with Triple-A Norfolk before his DL period is up. It has already been a really frustrating year for those who drafted the high-upside righty, as he has been used as a reliever rather than a starter. T.J. McFarland is expected to be added to the roster to replace Gausman.
