Tomlin struggled through five June starts, going 1-3 with a 6.75 ERA and 1.78 WHIP over 25.1 innings.
EDGE Analysis
It was an undesirable stretch of starts for the 32-year-old who seemed to find his stride just before entering June. Tomlin has made five starts in each of the campaign's first three months, and he's posted ERA's well above 6.50 in two of those. In his defense, the righty has suffered from a bit of poor luck as evidenced by his career-high .358 BABIP. Tomlin's 4.50 FIP (albeit nothing to write home about) is actually slightly better than his career 4.59 mark.

Tomlin will start Game 1 of Saturday's doubleheader against the Tigers, Evan Woodbery of MLive.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
As expected, the Indians will simply move Tomlin back following Friday's postponement. Tomlin seemed to be getting on track in May but he has been struggling mightily of late, giving up 13 runs and six homers in his last three starts (15.1 innings).

Tomlin will not make his scheduled start Friday against the Tigers as the game has been postponed due to rain.
EDGE Analysis
Updated rotation plans have not yet been announced, but chances are, Tomlin will simply move back to start one game of Saturday's doubleheader.

Tomlin (4-9) allowed four runs on nine hits and three walks while striking out five batters through 5.2 innings during Sunday's loss to Minnesota.
EDGE Analysis
Tomlin has now allowed 20 runs through 25.1 innings through his past five outings and owns a disastrous 6.09 ERA and 1.45 WHIP for the campaign. His 6.8 K/9 is also hardly moving the fantasy needle. At best, the 32-year-old righty is a risky flier as a streaming option or a value play in daily contests against favorable opponents. He projects to face the Tigers at Comerica Park in his next start.

Tomlin gave up five runs on eight hits -- including three home runs -- while striking out five over 4.2 innings but escaped with a no-decision in Tuesday's 6-5 loss to the Orioles.
EDGE Analysis
The long ball continues to be an issue for Tomlin, who has a 6.27 ERA and 2.4 HR/9 over his last seven starts. He'll try to turn things around Sunday at home against the Twins.

Tomlin (4-8) gave up four runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out seven over five innings in a win over the Dodgers on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
While he did give up two long balls, this was a strong bounce-back effort overall for Tomlin, who was knocked around for nine hits in just 2.2 innings his last time out. There is little strikeout upside with Tomlin -- the seven strikeouts Thursday matched a season high -- but the right-hander has been good at limiting the free passes. His low strand rate and high opponents' BABIP suggest bad luck is partially to blame for his ERA still sitting up at 5.83.

Tomlin (3-8) was clobbered over 2.2 innings, allowing four runs (three earned) on nine hits in Saturday's loss against the White Sox.
EDGE Analysis
Tomlin didn't have his best stuff Saturday, leading manager Terry Francona to open the Tribe's bullpen after just 54 pitches. It's been a bit of a roller coaster ride for fantasy owners this season, but overall, Tomlin has been better than his 5.73 ERA suggests. Before Saturday's game, the righty managed six quality starts in nine outings, including a complete-game victory to close out May. He'll look to get back on track Thursday at home against the Dodgers.

Tomlin will have his next start pushed back to Saturday against the White Sox.
EDGE Analysis
Rain interfered with Trevor Bauer's turn Sunday, so manager Terry Francona decided to shuffle the rotation for the upcoming week. Bauer will now get the intimidating assignment of pitching in Coors Field, while Tomlin draws a cozy matchup in Chicago. Carlos Carrasco will be bumped from Saturday to Sunday in a corresponding move.

Tomlin will make his next start on the road Wednesday against the Rockies, Paul Hoynes of Cleveland.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
With three days off during the week -- and the prospect of Danny Salazar getting another crack at the rotation -- Tomlin's next start was up in the air until now. Tuesday's game at Mile High isn't the best matchup for the right-hander sporting a 5.54 ERA and 1.3 HR/9.

Tomlin (3-7) gave up three runs on seven hits over 7.1 innings while striking out five in Friday's 4-0 loss to the Royals.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander began June in much the same way he finished up May and Tomlin now has a 3.60 ERA, 0.97 WHIP and 27:1 K:BB in 40 innings over his last six trips to the mound with four quality starts, but keep in mind three of those came against a Kansas City offense that ranks 28th in the league in wOBA against righties. At least he's taken advantage of his exploitable matchups. Cleveland has three of the next 10 days off so Tomlin could get his turn skipped, but if not he'll be on track to take on the White Sox at home Friday -- one of the two two teams in baseball worse than the Royals against right-handed pitchers.
