Tomlin (4-8) gave up four runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out seven over five innings in a win over the Dodgers on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
While he did give up two long balls, this was a strong bounce-back effort overall for Tomlin, who was knocked around for nine hits in just 2.2 innings his last time out. There is little strikeout upside with Tomlin -- the seven strikeouts Thursday matched a season high -- but the right-hander has been good at limiting the free passes. His low strand rate and high opponents' BABIP suggest bad luck is partially to blame for his ERA still sitting up at 5.83.
