Josh Tomlin impressed in his 2014 debut against the Twins on Tuesday, holding the opposition to one run over 6 2/3 innings and earning the win as the Indians emerged victorious by a 4-2 margin. The Indians moved the struggling Carlos Carrasco to the bullpen and elected to have Tomlin take his place. Tomlin had been pitching well in Triple-A, posting a 2.06 ERA with a 28/9 K/BB ratio in 35 innings. His good fortune continued on Tuesday as the right-hander allowed the one run -- a Chris Colabello solo homer -- on four hits and a walk while striking out four. Tomlin will face the Rays on the road next.
