Reddick doubled and tripled in four at-bats Thursday against the Royals, driving in a run and scoring one of his own. Amazingly, Reddick -- not particularly known as a speedster -- has five triples this year, tying his career high from 2012 (which came in more than twice as many games as the 77 he's played this year). Reddick's hit well since coming off the DL, so he's a solid fantasy option for deeper and AL-only formats, but remains a bit fringy for most standard leagues.

Reddick went 2-for-3 with an RBI in Tuesday's win over the Rays. Reddick's RBI single in the sixth inning helped give the A's a 3-0 lead. Since returning from the disabled list on July 22, Reddick is hitting .388/.392/.735 with four home runs, 11 runs scored, and eight RBI in 49 at-bats. He's also got a nice little five game hitting streak going on.

Josh Reddick went 2-for-5 with a home run and two runs scored in the Athletics' come-from-behind win over the Astros on Tuesday. Reddick hit a solo shot off Scott Feldman in the fifth inning, and he also scored in the team's six-run ninth inning. Reddick has come back from a strained right knee with a purpose, going 10-for-28 (.357) with four doubles, two homers, four RBI and seven runs scored in eight games. The strong stretch has his overall line up to .246/.305/.406.

Athletics activated OF Josh Reddick from the 15-day disabled list. Reddick wound up missing over three weeks with a strained right knee. He went 9-for-21 with three home runs and eight RBI on his five-game minor league rehab assignment and will try to build off that offensive success in his return to the majors. The 27-year-old outfielder has a disappointing .229/.296/.358 batting line in 54 games this season for Oakland.

Josh Reddick (knee) will remain on his rehab assignment until at least Sunday. Reddick is making slow progress in his recovery from a right knee injury, and it's starting to look as though he may need more than the minimum stint on the disabled list that was originally forecast.

Josh Reddick (knee) could begin a rehab assignment with High-A Stockton as soon as Friday. He would remain on the assignment through the All-Star break, with an eye on returning for the start of the second half. Reddick has had multiple issues with his right knee and plans to wear a brace on the knee for the remainder of the season.

Josh Reddick (knee) is hoping to begin a rehab assignment with High-A Stockton over the All-Star break. Reddick aggravated a right knee injury a week ago, but he doesn't have any structural damage and it's sounding like he might not need much more than a minimum stay on the disabled list. He'll take batting practice Monday for the first time since landing on the DL. The outfielder is batting just .229/.296/.358 with four homers over 54 games for the A's this season.
